When asked about how does she relate to the show as a mother, Shweta says, "I feel, it is a cycle that keeps going. When one thinks of Parvarish, the first thought that comes to our mind is children, their personalities and the way they behave. Parvarish is the basis of a child's behaviour. The show has a different script and they wanted a real life mother to play the role."

Talking about her daughter, Shweta (who has single handedly brought up her daughter) states, "My daughter is a very responsible girl. She makes me very comfortable and doesn't give me a feeling that her father is not around, even if she is missing him."

Shweta further elaborates by saying, "She behaves in a responsible manner and understands that her mother is doing everything for her. I believe that the right kind of upbringing has helped her in being so responsible. I would say that not only my daughter, but any child given the right kind of upbringing can succeed in life."
