Why Australia of all places?
There are plenty of other places more suitable for honeymoon if expense is no factor. And this dadi, she is a force to be reckoned with, not simply puttar and ghee and Karva Chauth and not calling husband by the name. Also, we hear that Ram will meet Apeksha there, whatever her relationship to Ram, and his real mother too. So, it is making me think, perhaps dadi sent them to Australia on purpose.
We don't know anything about the Kapoor's background except Ram's father's deathbed request about his second family and the haar for Ram's wife from his grandpa. Maybe the KApoor have a connections in Australia, maybe dadi guesses, rather knows, Niharika's evil intent, only she could do nothing due to Ram's blindnes. Maybe she was waiting for an ally to uncover all and she got one in Priya.
Now dadi is putting in her own moves for the ultimate good of her Golu.
