"But sir, Dadima is not at home! She has gone to her friend's place!!!"
Maan stops in his steps as Nakul's words got registered in him and shock washed through him!!!!!
He looks at Geet in his arms with horrific expression who was still looking at him with amused expression.. She still didn't understand what he's doing!!
He looks at her waist where the open sari was still hanging... And he realised what he has to do now...and that scared him!!
A part of him has already started thinking that how her soft smooth skin would feel under his touch... While the other part of him was telling him that he can't do this!!!
Her closeness was already affecting him... He didn't know if he was strong enough to control himself if he has to touch her even a bit more!!!
His fingers twitched against her skin to touch her more...his breathing heavy with desire...
He closed his eyes to control himself as he realised what he was thinking!!
He opens his eyes determinedly deciding to take her to the room as soon as possible!! He wants to get away from her skin and her fragrance so desperately...
He has just taken a step when Geet said "Ek minute Maan!!"
Maan stops and looks at her frowning... Here he was...trying to get away from her as soon as he can...and here she was...trying to stop him!!!
He said in a hoarse voice "What now??!!" there was an edge of frustration and anger in his voice.
She ignores his question and looks towards Nakul from top of his shoulder... Nakul was still standing with his back towards them and now was just about to go inside...
"Nakul Bhayiya!!" Geet calls Nakul.
Maan's eyes widens in shock as he realised that what would be the after effects of her calling Nakul and he quickly looks towards Nakul from his shoulders. And he realised he wasn't wrong.
Nakul was just about to turn his face towards them instinctively when Maan said quickly "Nakul stop!! Haven't I asked you not to look this side??!!"
Nakul turns his back again and Maan looks at Geet angrily who was looking at him with amused expression...
All this happened in mere couple of seconds..
He said angrily to Geet "Geet what are you doing??"
Geet makes a baby face at his anger and said "Ab maine kya kiya hai Maan??!! Ab Nakul bhaiya ko bulaane mein bhi aapko problem hai?? Ya aapke ghar mein aisa koi rule hai, ke aapke ilaava Nakul bhayiya ko koi bula nahi sakta??!! Nahi nahi bataa dijiye agar aisa koi rule hai to!! Main Nakul bhaiya ko nahi bulaaoongi!! Kabse dekh rahi hoon, aap kitna ajeeb behave kar rahe hain!! Arre, ab agar mujhe..."
"Ek minute Geet! Ek minute!!" he said frustratingly. "Kitna bolti ho tum!!"
He said sarcastically "I'm sorry jo maine tumse poochh liya!!"
"It's ok!!" Geet said innocently.
Maan looks at her flabbergastedly and rolls his eyes on her and was about to go inside when Geet said again "Ek minute Maan!"
He stops again.
Geet looks at Nakul from top of his shoulder and says curiously while her eyes lightening up in excitement "Nakul bhayiya, khaane mein kya hai??"
Maan looks at Geet unbelievably and says "Geet tumhe khaane ki pari hai!! Yahaan hum itni serious situation mein hain aur tum khaane ke baare mein soch rahi ho??!!"
Geet rolls her eyes on him and says "Maan, normal insaan is waqt mein khaane ke baare mein hi sochte hain!! Aapne time dekha hai?!! 9 baj rahe hain!!! Is waqt zyadatar log dinner hi karte hain! Aapke chakkar mein, maine shaam se kuch bhi nahi khaaya!! Pata hai, mere pet mein ye mote mote choohe dance kar rahe hain!! Aapke bharose rahoongi to pata nahi kab tak bhooka rehna padega!! Khud to pata nahi aap khaana khaate hain bhi ya nahi!! Lekin dusre log to bechaare khaate hain na!! Aapne ek baar bhi mujhse poochha ke Geet, tumhe bhook to nahi lagi?? Aapko kya lagta hai, main lohe ki bani hoon?? Jo main bina khaane ke jeeti hoon!! Waise aapki jaankaari ke liye bata doon, ke mujhe din mein teen baar bhook lagti hai!! Aur main us time mein khaana hi khaati hoon!!"
Maan felt like pulling his hair!!! This girl can seriously talk on anything for hours!! No doubt she gets hungry this often!!! If she'll talk so much then obviously all her energy is gonna used up!!
Maan said "Geet ek minute!!"
And he said towards Nakul "Nakul, ghar mein jitna bhi khaana hai, sab mere room mein bhijwa do!!" and he starts walking towards his room...
Geet realised something and said surprised "Sab bhijwa do??!! Saara khaana kya karenge Maan?! Aapko lagta hai main saara khaana kha jaaoongi??!! Main koi rakshash thodi na hoon, jo main ghar ka saara khaana kha jaaoongi!! Maan aap bhi na!!" and then she realises something and said "Ohh! Aapne apne liye mangwaya hoga! Hai na?? Waise aapko dekhkar lagta to nahi hai ke aap ghar ka saara khaana khaa jaate honge," Maan gives her an almost-angry look and she said faking an artificial smile "Nahi nahi! Mera ye matlab nahi tha ke aap raakshash hain ya aap bohat zyada khaate hain!! Main to bas ye keh rahi thi ke aap itne fit hain, to..." she left it at that and then realises something "Ofcourse!! Aap roz gym jo jaate hain!! Isiliye itne fit hain na!! Tabhi to!! Tabhi to itni aasaani se mujhe god mein utha liya!! Hai na?!" she gives him an artificial smile, but he decided to not reply to her.
By now he has understood that if he'll say even a word, that would mean inviting her endless talks!! Not that he minds her talks, in fact he rather enjoys it, but right now he was in pain! He wanted to put her somewhere so that he can regain his senses back that was still blurred with her touch!!
When Geet saw that he is not replying to her, she looks up and said "Babaji! Main to pehla insaan dekh rahi hoon, jo ghar ka saara khaana ek baar mein kha jaayein!! Bechaare naukar!! Kitna khaana banaate honge ek din mein!! Mujhe to us ladki pe taras aa raha hai, jo inki biwi banegi!! Bechari!! Saara din kitchen mein hi khaana banaane mein nikal jaaya karega!!!" and then she scolds herself "Chee chee Geet, buri baat hai!! Yun kisi ke khaane par nazar nahi lagaate!! Arre to kya hua agar wo thoda zyada khaate hain to?! Sab ki apni apni bhook hoti hai!! Shayad unko thodi zyada bhook lagti hogi!! Hai na? Haan!!"
Maan was hearing all this but he didn't say anything. At last, they reached his room!! For the first time in his life, he felt how far his room was or rather how close his room was!!! A part of him was cursing that he has reached his room so soon and now he has to get away from her!!!
He puts her on the bed a bit reluctantly while a part of him wanted to cling onto her forever!!!
He steps back to breathe in the fresh air to clear his mind from her fragrance...
When he was able to control himself, he said sarcastically "Pehli baat Geet, wo khaana maine apne liye nahi, tumhare liye mangwaya hai!!"
"Itna khaana!!" she said surprised. And before she could say something else, Maan said in a mischievous tone "Wo kya hai na Geet, ab tum itna bolti ho to mujhe laga ke tumhe zyada khaane ki zaroorat parti hogi!! Aakhir energy bhi to kahi se laati hogi na!!" he smirked teasingly.
Geet said innocently "Aapko zaroor koi galat fehmi hui hai Maan!! Main kahaan zyada bolti hoon!!"
"Of course Geet! Main to bhool hi gaya tha, ke tum to bilkul bhi nahi bolti ho!!" he said sarcastically.
Geet says innocently "Wohi to main keh rahi hoon Maan! Main kabhi zyada bolti hoon kya??!! To!!"
Maan rolls his eyes and then says "Aur haan! Tumhe meri biwi ke baare mein fikar karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai!! Main apni biwi ki fikar khud kar sakta hoon!! Don't worry, kitchen mein khaana banane ke liye ghar mein bohat saare naukar hain!! Tumhe khaana banane ki zaroorat nahi padegi!!"
Jazz: OMG!! What did you said Maan???!!!!!!
Maan realised what he has said way after the words had already escaped his mouth!!
Maan (self-thought): 'Maan, ye tumne kya bol diya??!! Kaash Geet ne dhyaan se na suna ho jo maine kaha!! (he peeks towards her to see her expressions). Magar maine aisa kaha hi kiyun??? Geet aur meri bi--(he stops his thought in between and didn't finish the word 'biwi') Nahi Maan!! Control yourself!! This girl is making you loose control over yourself!! Don't let her affect you!! Just remember that she is NOT Sameera!! Yes! This is happening just because she looks like Sameera!!! That's all!!'
Geet has missed what he has said!! Geet was surprised just with his first sentence, that she didn't paid attention that he has indirectly called her his wife!!
Geet said innocently "Magar maine aapki biwi ka naam kab liya Maan??!!"
{Friends, whatever Geet talks to herself and to Babaji, she thinks nobody listens to it!! For her, all those conversations take place in her mind!! So she thinks that she hasn't spoken it out loud!! In her talks she doesn't realise that she is saying everything out loud!!!}
She looks up and says scared "Hey babaji!! Kahin ye mann ki baat to nahi sun sakte??!! Inhe kaise pata ke maine inki biwi ke baare mein kya bola tha??!!"
Maan says sarcastically "Woh isliye Geet, kiyunki tumhare babaji ne mujhe do kaan diye hain, jo sun sakte hain!!"
Geet gets more scared and said "Hey babaji!! Iska matlab ye sach much mann ki baat sun sakte hain??!!! Iska matlab maine ab tak jo bhi apne mann mein kaha, inhone wo sab sun liya!!! Babaji, aap bhi na!!! Arre koi ishara hi kar dete ke inke paas mann ki baat sun-ne ki super power hai, to main wo sab kuch na bolti na!! Maine to inko apne mann mein kya kuch keh diya!! Yahaan tak ki dusht-daanav bhi bola!! Matlab inhone wo sab sun liya??!! Hey babaji! Ye kya soch rahe honge mere baare mein, ke kaisi ladki hai ye!!!"
Maan was listening to her talks and was controlling his smile with great difficulty!! This girl is really a unique piece!!! She really thinks that he has some super-natural power to listen to the thoughts??!!
Geet was still talking to herself "Geet! Bevakoofi wali baatein mat kar!! Wo kaise kisi ke mann ki baat sun sakte hain!! Ye koi film thodi na hai!! Asal zindagi mein logon ke paas supernatural power nahi hoti hai!!! Wo to unhone waise hi tukka maar liya hoga!! Lekin fir bhi ek baar check kar leti hoon!!"
Geet says to Maan "Maan!!"
Maan controls his smile and puts on a straight-face "Hmm?"
Geet asks suspiciously "Aapne abhi abhi kuch suna??"
Maan had a huge urge to laugh at her innocence.
He thought of playing along and tell her that he has a supernatural power to read minds, but then decides otherwise thinking that then she would probably stop those sweet talks of hers... And he loved those talks of hers when she talked to herself or babaji... Those talks were the mirror of her pure heart and innocence!! And he doesn't want to loose those talks at any cost!!!
So he said faking innocence "Nahi to!! Kiyun, tumne kuch kaha kya??!!"
Geet smiles an artificial smile and says "Nahi! Kuch nahi!!" and then takes a sigh and says looking up "Thankyou babaji!! Main to darr hi gayi thi!!! Tu bhi na Geet! Ek number ki jhalli hai!! Kuch bhi sochti hai!!"
But now Maan was thinking of a way out of the situation in front of them!! But somewhere he knew that the destiny has already decided that this problem is gonna at last break on his head only!! Like destiny has already decided that he has to tie her sari!!
Somewhere he was happy that dadima was not home, and that scared him!!
But then he snaps at himself that he is Maan Singh Khurana! He writes his destiny with his own hands!!!
Just at that moment, the door knocks...
He opens the door and see Nakul standing there with the food trolley.
He takes the trolley from Nakul and takes it inside without letting any space between the door and himself... He can't take chances of Nakul even having a glance of the room!!
Nakul was about to go when Maan remembers something and says "Nakul!!"
Nakul stops and looks back at Maan and said "Yes sir?"
Maan asks hopefully "Is there any female servants at home?" But he knew the answer to it before Nakul said anything! He never hires any female servants, that was one of his rule that everyone has to follow while hiring any servants!! But still he wished in his deepest heart that maybe dadima had hired someone...
But all his hopes shattered with Nakul's next words "But sir, you yourself has ordered strictly that there would be no female servants at home! So we never hired any female servants!!"
Maan felt like punching something hard in frustration!!! He curses himself for making such stupid rules!!
He closes the door and goes inside in frustration...
Geet's eyes brightens up seeing him pushing the food trolley and she said excitedly "Khana!!!"
Maan looks at her while deep in thought... He was still thinking some way out of it!!
She quickly picks up the lid of the dishes to see what it is... And to her shock, everything was Italian!!!
The excitement that came on her face before, vanished instantly...
She said making a face "Ye kya hai??!!"
Maan comes out of his trance with her words... He looks at her and then at the food that has vanished the spark from her face and said "What happened?"
She said making a baby face "Ye koi khana hai!!?? Na koi masala na koi namak!! Dekhne mein hi achcha nahi lag raha hai ye to!!"
Maan rolls his eyes and said sternly "Ye mera favourite khana hai!! Is ghar mein hamesha se yehi khana banta aaya hai!! Agar tumhe khana hai, to yehi khao, warna bhooki raho!!" he was already frustrated on his helplessness and she was making it worse for him!!
Geet looks at him and then at the food making a nauseated face...
And then she says looking up "Hey babaji! Ab yehi sab khana reh gaya tha!!! Mujhe to isse dekh kar hi vomit jaisi feeling aa rahi hai!! Main isse kaise khaaoongi!!" and she said angrily "Inhone kabhi atithi devo bhav phrase suna bhi hai kya??!! Guest ke saath koi aisa salook karta hai kya??"
The word 'guest' irked him!! And he realised for the first time that she is here just for today! Tomorrow she's gonna go back!! The very thought hurted him way more than he thought it would or it should.
But his thoughts broke as Geet was still talking to herself "Koi kehta hai kya?! Ke ghar mein yehi banta hai aur tumhe yehi khaana hoga!!! Hamare HP mein agar koi mehmaan aata hai, to hum uski marzi ka khana bana kar khilaate hain!! Par chhado!! Vadda shehar, vaddi baatein!! Chhaddo!!! Hmph!!"
She fills a spoon of pasta and makes a face before putting taking it near her mouth.
But as she was about to put it in her mouth, Maan said "Ruko Geet!!"
Maan felt a pang in his heart seeing her little face!! He was himself surprised at himself that he was thinking about her likes so much!! But then he shakes off the feeling by thinking that he is feeling concerned just because she is his guest, as she said!! And he should take care of the guest's likes and dislikes!! He shakes off the restlessness he felt at the thought of Geet being just a guest!!!
Geet looks at him surprised and he said "What do you want to eat?"
Geet's face again lightens up and she says excitedly "Punjabi khana!!"
Maan smiles at her cute glow that flooded her face and he picks up the intercom and orders the servants to prepare punjabi food asap!!
The servants were very shocked to hear Maan ordering them to make Punjabi food but nobody said anything!!
Geet looks at him happily and he felt so happy to see that happiness on her face...
But Geet's next words broke his little bubble of happiness "Chaliye! Jab tak khana aata hai, tab tak mein hum ye sari baandh lete hain!!"

Babaji, aap bhi na!!! Arre koi ishara hi kar dete ke inke paas mann ki baat sun-ne ki super power hai, to main wo sab kuch na bolti na!! Maine to inko apne mann mein kya kuch keh diya!! Yahaan tak ki dusht-daanav bhi bola!! Matlab inhone wo sab sun liya??!! Hey babaji! Ye kya soch rahe honge mere baare mein, ke kaisi ladki hai ye!!!"
Maan was listening to her talks and was controlling his smile with great difficulty!! This girl is really a unique piece!!! She really thinks that he has some super-natural power to listen to the thoughts??!!
Geet was still talking to herself "Geet! Bevakoofi wali baatein mat kar!! Wo kaise kisi ke mann ki baat sun sakte hain!! Ye koi film thodi na hai!! Asal zindagi mein logon ke paas supernatural power nahi hoti hai!!! Wo to unhone waise hi tukka maar liya hoga!! Lekin fir bhi ek baar check kar leti hoon!!"
Geet says to Maan "Maan!!"
Maan controls his smile and puts on a straight-face "Hmm?"
Geet asks suspiciously "Aapne abhi abhi kuch suna??"
Maan had a huge urge to laugh at her innocence.
He thought of playing along and tell her that he has a supernatural power to read minds, but then decides otherwise thinking that then she would probably stop those sweet talks of hers... And he loved those talks of hers when she talked to herself or babaji... Those talks were the mirror of her pure heart and innocence!! And he doesn't want to loose those talks at any cost!!!
So he said faking innocence "Nahi to!! Kiyun, tumne kuch kaha kya??!!"
Geet smiles an artificial smile and says "Nahi! Kuch nahi!!" and then takes a sigh and says looking up "Thankyou babaji!! Main to darr hi gayi thi!!! Tu bhi na Geet! Ek number ki jhalli hai!! Kuch bhi sochti hai!!"
But now Maan was thinking of a way out of the situation in front of them!! But somewhere he knew that the destiny has already decided that this problem is gonna at last break on his head only!! Like destiny has already decided that he has to tie her sari!!
Somewhere he was happy that dadima was not home, and that scared him!!
But then he snaps at himself that he is Maan Singh Khurana! He writes his destiny with his own hands!!!
Just at that moment, the door knocks...
He opens the door and see Nakul standing there with the food trolley.
He takes the trolley from Nakul and takes it inside without letting any space between the door and himself... He can't take chances of Nakul even having a glance of the room!!
Nakul was about to go when Maan remembers something and says "Nakul!!"
Nakul stops and looks back at Maan and said "Yes sir?"
Maan asks hopefully "Is there any female servants at home?" But he knew the answer to it before Nakul said anything! He never hires any female servants, that was one of his rule that everyone has to follow while hiring any servants!! But still he wished in his deepest heart that maybe dadima had hired someone...
But all his hopes shattered with Nakul's next words "But sir, you yourself has ordered strictly that there would be no female servants at home! So we never hired any female servants!!"
Maan felt like punching something hard in frustration!!! He curses himself for making such stupid rules!!
He closes the door and goes inside in frustration...
Geet's eyes brightens up seeing him pushing the food trolley and she said excitedly "Khana!!!"
Maan looks at her while deep in thought... He was still thinking some way out of it!!
She quickly picks up the lid of the dishes to see what it is... And to her shock, everything was Italian!!!
The excitement that came on her face before, vanished instantly...
She said making a face "Ye kya hai??!!"
Maan comes out of his trance with her words... He looks at her and then at the food that has vanished the spark from her face and said "What happened?"
She said making a baby face "Ye koi khana hai!!?? Na koi masala na koi namak!! Dekhne mein hi achcha nahi lag raha hai ye to!!"
Maan rolls his eyes and said sternly "Ye mera favourite khana hai!! Is ghar mein hamesha se yehi khana banta aaya hai!! Agar tumhe khana hai, to yehi khao, warna bhooki raho!!" he was already frustrated on his helplessness and she was making it worse for him!!
Geet looks at him and then at the food making a nauseated face...
And then she says looking up "Hey babaji! Ab yehi sab khana reh gaya tha!!! Mujhe to isse dekh kar hi vomit jaisi feeling aa rahi hai!! Main isse kaise khaaoongi!!" and she said angrily "Inhone kabhi atithi devo bhav phrase suna bhi hai kya??!! Guest ke saath koi aisa salook karta hai kya??"
The word 'guest' irked him!! And he realised for the first time that she is here just for today! Tomorrow she's gonna go back!! The very thought hurted him way more than he thought it would or it should.
But his thoughts broke as Geet was still talking to herself "Koi kehta hai kya?! Ke ghar mein yehi banta hai aur tumhe yehi khaana hoga!!! Hamare HP mein agar koi mehmaan aata hai, to hum uski marzi ka khana bana kar khilaate hain!! Par chhado!! Vadda shehar, vaddi baatein!! Chhaddo!!! Hmph!!"
She fills a spoon of pasta and makes a face before putting taking it near her mouth.
But as she was about to put it in her mouth, Maan said "Ruko Geet!!"
Maan felt a pang in his heart seeing her little face!! He was himself surprised at himself that he was thinking about her likes so much!! But then he shakes off the feeling by thinking that he is feeling concerned just because she is his guest, as she said!! And he should take care of the guest's likes and dislikes!! He shakes off the restlessness he felt at the thought of Geet being just a guest!!!
Geet looks at him surprised and he said "What do you want to eat?"
Geet's face again lightens up and she says excitedly "Punjabi khana!!"
Maan smiles at her cute glow that flooded her face and he picks up the intercom and orders the servants to prepare punjabi food asap!!
The servants were very shocked to hear Maan ordering them to make Punjabi food but nobody said anything!!
Geet looks at him happily and he felt so happy to see that happiness on her face...
But Geet's next words broke his little bubble of happiness "Chaliye! Jab tak khana aata hai, tab tak mein hum ye sari baandh lete hain!!"
Maan's gulps down his saliva as he realises that there is no escape now...
AUTHOR'S NOTE
I'm so sorry friends! I know that everyone of you was waiting for Maan to tie the sari, but don't have enough time to write more...as many of you are demanding for an update for darkness personified, so I'm gonna start working on that one as I want to update atleast one part of it b4 my wedding!! So that left me with no time to write any further for this one!!! But as you have guessed that Maan's gonna tie her sari...well he doesn't have another option!!!
Other than the disappointment of not getting maan tie her sari, did you like it???
