kashish loved sujal , sujal loved kashish.

At the time, Rishi and vasu aunty were creating probs between kash and sujal

so they were fighting..

then piyush's father went to sinha house and proposed for his son to marry kashish

for the well being of her family, and since she was fighting with sujal, she decided to marry him

so later he is her husband

piyush played lalit raheja's son....his character was tat of a very soft hearted...down to earth person...very loving carin.....firstly kash n piyush were just friends....but then they got married.....then also kash still loved sujal....though she misunderstood her responsibilities 2wards piyush as love for him.....but she was always in luv wid sujal....

she didn't married piyush forcibly...but she n sujal had a misunderstanding ...n kash married piyush just to save her dad's life....as her dad wanted her 2 get married 2 piyush...

piyush was the eldest raheja son-to what i know, sujal and piyush were best friends in the beginning, kashish fell in love with sujal but became very good friends with piyush. Sujal obviously loved kashish but so did piyush as well. but i dont think that anybody knew of his love.
It was around that time i believe that the whole mahek and rishi thing was going on. mahek became pregnant which managed to ruin the garewal family boys' reputation or something of that nature, anyways so there was no way noway anybody would like for kahsish to marry into that family but mahek marrying into raheja family did their reputation alot of good, so piyush was obviously a very good choice. Also i think his family was the first to approach kahish's family for her hand in marriage and she couldnt really say no, since she had no idea that her marriage was arranged to piyush not sujal. then she tells him i think, and they try to break it off but kashish realizes that piyush is the better choice and actually quite willingly marries him, however at teh wedding, piyush knew very well that his wife was in love with his best friend.
its only a little while after that kashish falls in love with him, or so she thinks--akshat's famous line, "piyush woh insan the jisse tumne pyar kiya tha, sujal woh insan hai jisse tumhein pyar hua tha. Pyar hota hai, kiya nahin jata."
