Hi There,

There are many successful and underachiever's in TV media industry. Both sides have got their chances to play their hand. However, there is another breed who never did get the chance to portray their work/ability.

I guess, I am one of those who have taken life as it comes, living to achieve what family desires and somehow got stuck in making the ends meet. Work/life balance can sometime take you so far away from your real talent that, becoming who you really are becomes a distant dream in your heart. Mind wonders here and there to go out and break the daily cyclic deadlock but then you wake up in the morning and "kaam karo paise kamaao" shaadi karo, ghar kharido drags you to the bottom of the reality ocean.

Anyway, I am not the only one in this rat race but I may be the only one to connect with that someone who could value talent.

Below is my script/story line (fiction for a TV (GEC) which has been in my mind...

"Bas Yuhi Jeeye Hum Sab"

Abstract: Its a story about a man, who's lived a rich life until he's 30 (connecting with the audience between 25-60). His family provided him with all they could a middle class family can aspire for their kids. Like every Indian family, education becomes the important goal of life and personal desires gets somehow lost or buried in the life's living. The central character goes through the journey of life of a middle class family, studies, living life to fullest with family's money in India and goes abroad for higher education. Family is also a well to do family, who has strong values and honor in society. Father has gone through fascinating challenges in his life and mother has been a obedient woman who has worked in government for 30 years, managing life/passion/kids all in best possible manner (which 90% of TV viewing female audience has gone through but never been depicted in TV actually). The boy learns value of money/family's sacrifices/long distant relationship challenges with his love in India and utmost respect towards India whilst staying abroad. He has a successful lifestyle in Australia (Sydney) and comes back to face the challenges in India (work wise/family wise and relationship with his gf wise). Going through all this, he discovers his passion and also the journey of lifetime he goes through whilst engaging in daily chores of life.

Central Character: Prithvi Rameshchandra Modi. Born 14 Sep 1941 (Ganesh Chaturti day)

Prithvi is young and dynamic. He has lived his life to the fullest. Coming from a respectable family, he's has enjoyed the life in Mumbai, with friends and never paid attention in taking responsibility in life. He's very kind. He's one of those who would empty his pockets when he sees a small child begging on the streets. He would go to extreme lengths in helping his friends, would steal money from home to help out his friends and put himself in trouble. He's a bright kid but he never pays attention towards studies but never fails in exams as well. He would study just a night before the exam and yet pass out the toughest exam. He likes movies and the imaginative world it brings inside him. He not the toughest kid in the block, average size but good looking. He is well known in his neighborhood, being central point in the social functions (events) happening around (neighborhood stage shows/festivals etc). Prithvi goes to Australia and discovers the fascinating world of freedom. Freedom comes with a price tag of staying away from his friends/family/GF and most important his comfort zone. Prithvi is a people person, he makes new friends quickly and through his experience he learns the value of money/responsibilty/patriotism for India and how much he loves his GF. Prithvi and his journey (facets) of life shows what middle class father/mother/kid/friends/ goes through in living life in India (Mumbai) and the challenges/fun/love experiences. Prithvi gets married to his gf in due course and family goes through some challenges adjusting with inter-caste marriage. Prithvi gives up his well paying job on day to pursue his passion towards advertising.goes through the challenges/breaks down in between/joins his father's business/and then one day he starts his own business in media (his passion). Amazing journey this Prithvi has and the way he bends and breaks the challenges and yet comes out as best in everything he does.

Father: Rameshchandra Anand Modi: Born in 22 Oct 1945. He's come from a struggling childhood, after being born in a rich family in Gujrat, has seen the difficulties of life after his father passed away when he was just 5 yrs old. RameshChandra (RC) has 4 brother and 3 sister. RC's father was rich in early 90's but was duped by a friend and poverty grips the family. RC is courageous and very loving person. He comes to Mumbai with 5 rupees in his pocket and makes it large in Mumbai. He puts his kid's wishes before his and dedicates his entire life in giving them everything which he never had in his life. Whilst doing this he forgets what he really wants (story connects with millions of father's we have rich/poor and their dedication towards their family, capturing the 40-60 male group).

Mother: Neeta Rameshchandra Modi. Born 31 Jan 1947. Neeta is courteous lady who's has worked in government PF department as Senior accountant for 30 yrs. Neeta is the backbone of the family managing kids/life/work/husband/society is what she's done for her entire life. Neeta

Sister: Rushali Rameshchandra Modi. Born 20 Oct 1979 (Diwali days).

Rushali is simple homely girl who enjoys life but is not too ambitious in life. She's believed to be a arrange marriage material but falls in love with her colleague and faces difficulty in outting forward this to family, especially when her family looking for the groom for her. She's has Prithvi to support her in whatever she does.

Aakansha Mahesh Sawant: Prithvi's GF. Born 13 Dec 1985.

As the name says. Aakansha is full of hope and ambition. She;s very practical girl, as her father passed away when she was 7 yrs old. She's a perfect sagittarius. She's blessed to work in creative field and has achieved greatly at young age of 25 in fashion industry. Aakansha brings the real Prithvi in life with her love/care/practical thinking and passion. Their love sees the ups and downs of long distant relationship and work culture differences and family expectations but her love is too strong for Prithvi and she guides Prithvi to achieve his success without compromising her passion of life.

Story is what everyone in India has lived in their life but never been shown in such a compassionate and real form.
