Personal Life

Dayanand Shetty was born on 11^th December, 1969,in a Tulu speaking Bunt family in Katapadi village of Udupi district of Karnataka State in India to Chandra prakash Shetty and Uma Shetty.He has two sisters.He did his B.com from Rizvi College, Bandra. He married Smitha Shetty and they have a daughter - Viva.

PROFESSIONAL LIFE

He is basically a sports man turning an actor because of leg injury. He was a shotput and discus thrower, which brought him many prizes. He was the champion of discus throw from State Maharastra in 1994.

Though he has acted in many commercials, plays and even in film, but he got fame as Senior Inspector Daya in CID, a character which he has been playing for almost 14 years.

He is a very integral part of the C.I.D. team. Apart from using his amazing investigative skills, he also uses his muscle power from time to time to subdue criminals.

First of all as it is DAYA sir's FC, the discussion should be related to Daya only. Or else we can have the discussion about CID & Abhijit also. 😆
Please do not post just to say hi to your friends as NO chatting allowed in any Fan Club. 😆
Please do not quote the whole post unnecessarily. Avoid quoting extremely large posts, unless it is absolutely necessary. Quoting not allowed more than 3 times. 😆
Please Do NOT post countless consecutive posts. Please do not post the messages about how hot, talented or good looking a celebrity is, repeatedly. It's common sense and everyone that joined the club knows that. 😆
