Out Damned Spot!

Anyone else got the tragic Lady Macbeth imagery from ASR's frantic hand wiping? The blood that had NO reason to be on his hand, and that really couldn't have been all fresh by evening time, for him to keep trying to erase with tissue after tissue I Know I know, this is an Indian soap opera, but with the excellent story lines mirroring Pride and Prejudice, shades of Jane Eyre, using all the absolutely traditional plot devices (anti-hero, oedipal father figure being slowly killed and replaced by a younger man, the mean bitch-shrew-no prize for guessing thats Buaji, etc) and now the Shakespeare imagery, i swear someone on the CV team is a Literature Major!

I am a huge literature buff and I could not ignore the various references in this show. Thats why I love it.
