At the audition, Sona tells Ishika to perform a dance and show several expressions while they producers are recording. In between breaks, Ishika tries to eat a cookie, but Sona stops her on every occasion. The producers says they have seen enough and are satisfied with her performance, but Sona says she can do much more. At last, Sona says Ishika can cry without using glycerin. She starts crying for real while holding her stomach. The director asks why she is holding her stomach; Sona says she is acting as if she is hungry. The director gets impressed.
Saket calls Sona and apologizes for Mahi's accident and asks Sona to bring Ishika to the shoot. He says he will pay more; Sona says they will not come and hangs up.
At the hospital, Dadi says to Kalindi that Kishore doesn't regret about Mahi's accident. She says his wishes will never come true (about making Mahi an actress.) Kalindi says they should leave Mumbai and go to Kanpur to her brother's house; Dadi agrees.
At the audition, they finalize a deal and the director says it will take a while to make a contract. He adds that she starts shooting tomorrow.
Sona says to Indresh that they will get R.25,000 per day. He says Mahi will come home tomorrow. Ishika gets happy.
Next day, Mahi arrives home. Dadi does her puja. Ishika welcomes Mahi. Sona says they have to leave for the shoot in some time. The girls go to Ishika's room for a while. Kishore remembers Sona's words from the parking lot.
Preview: Saket comes to Ishika's house and asks Sona to come to the shoot. Sona pushes Saket out and he hits his head on the wall.
