The actress reacts defensively when fellow contestants on Star Ya Rockstar express their preference for Chhavi's vocal skills
It wasn't the best day in Ragini Khanna's life at the most recent shoot of Zee TV's Star Ya Rockstar. After all, it isn't easy to watch your fellow contestants on a reality show compare your performance with that of your closest competitor's and openly praise the other competitor!
So when Manasi Parekh, Sumeet Raghavan, Manish Paul and Sachin Pilgaonkar expressed surprise at Ragini's light-hearted romp to 'Mungdaa' drawing a top score while Chhavi's superior act to a more challenging 'Chhaap Tilak Mohe Dini Tose Naina Milaayke' receiving a lower score, it clearly didn't go down too well with Ragini.
With a flushed face, Ragini said she didn't care what the others thought as long as the judges and the audience were on her side. As if this were not bad enough, host Mona Singh asked actor Sumeet Raghavan to choose between Ragini and Manish Paul in terms of who he would like to see continuing their run on the show. And Sumeet, though reluctant to answer at first, chose Manish Paul!
Not in the mood to hear that response at all, Ragini quipped, "Sumeet, that's got more to do with your friendship than real talent right?" While she winked and smiled at Sumeet as if she were only kidding, it was obvious to all on the sets that the flesh could have just melted off Ragini's face and she could have probably just lunged at Sumeet, Manish and the other contestants for teaming up against her!
