Before he could understand what happened, a hand came up catching the dupatta before it could touch the ground and it was thrown back on her.
"Cover up Geet"
"Who are you?" Rahul asked in an irritated voice.
"Aditya Kashyap"
"Adi sir" Geet whispered wrapping the dupatta tightly around herself covering her head also.
"What are you doing here Aditya Kashyap and what do you want but first tell me who allowed you inside?" Rahul thundered.
I have come for Geet, I want to take her back with me and as for allowing me there was no one around and the door was wide open so I just came in.
"Just go away, she does not want you here. You can ask her yourself, she has come on her own free will and we will be getting married shortly. Go on Geet tell him and remember the condition for the answer"
Geet stood there thinking and then making up her mind, she said,
"Yes Adi sir, its ok. I am here on my own free will and we are soon going to be married."
"No Geet I can not allow you to marry this creep, you have to come with me this moment. Dev Sir, Maan Sir and Dadima will get very angry at me if I let you marry this character, so I can't allow you and have you thought what will happen to Pari if you marry him? What will think about her when they come to know her elder sister is married to such a person"
Before Adi could say more Rahul interrupted him,
"What do u mean by creep and such a fellow MR ADITYA KASHYAP" he bellowed, "And who are you to interfere in Geet's life and her decision?"
"She is like my sister. The day she entered the office of Khurana Mansion she reminded me of my sister Rakhi. My sister Rakhi, died of leukemia when she was 18 years old. We could do nothing to save her. Doctors had given her a 50/50 chance of living upto 3 more months but she could not pull it through. She told me, when she was saying her final goodbye that she was sorry, so sorry they wouldn't be able to be old together as they'd always planned, and that's she was going to a better place. That strong my sister was and that strength I saw in Geet the first time I met her. I had decided at that moment, I will always look after her and protect her, that's promise I made on my sister's memory. So I can never leave Geet alone"
Geet had tears running down her face by the time Adi finished.
"Oh Adi sir I never knew about your sister. I am so sorry"
"Enough of your stories Mister now get out of here" Rahul shouted at Adi.
"Shhhsush Rahul, keep quite. Adi sir, tell me how did you come to know I have come to this place?" Geet asked Aditya.
Rahul got bored and as he did not want to hear what Adi was saying, he moved away. When Aditya saw Rahul far away he replied to her "Actually it was Sameera who told me about you. She had seen you going out of the house and got curious to know where you were going leaving the wedding, she was going to follow you but then Dadima called her and told her to attend the Guests. As she had to attend the Guest she got worried about you, so she called me and told me to follow you. More over I had seen you write something in a note after the incident and I thought you must be planning to something stupid to yourself so after Sameera phoned me my fears were confirmed. Then I could not leave you alone. The only problem was I did not know where exactly are you going, so I got a little lost in the wilderness all around this house. That's why the delay in coming here. But tell me Geet why did you come here at this time of the night and that too after the incidence in the morning? What did you want to achieve by coming to this person Geet?"
"I will tell you everything Adi sir but please tell me, is Dadima alright? And Pari must have been very hurt. What about Dev, is he ok? And I hope you did not tell Maan about my leaving the house?"
While he flicked the channels disinterestedly Rahul kept on eyeing Geet. It gave shudders to her.
"Leave that Geet, you have to tell me first, but before that let's go from here"
"Err'..I don't know Adi sir, what and how to tell you'ehm'ss...It's difficult to tell you everything, just think that I wanted some answers so I came here. I thought I was brave enough to succeed in my plan but'. Thank god you came when you came otherwise I don't know what would have happened" Geet told Adi still shuddering from the creepy feeling that Rahul gave her.
"Ok, let's go from here"
"I can't go just now Adi sir, I have to get some answers from this man but I don't know what to do?"
Just then Adi's phone rang.
Adi moved away to take the call.
"Geet, had you enough of your brother's talk? Send him home and I will marry you." Rahul whispered in her ear. He had gotten his chance when Adi was attending the call.
"Do you promise?"
"Of course Geet I promise. Just send him away and soon, I am losing my patience."
Adi finished his call and came to Geet.
"Let's go Geet. I told him and he is coming to get you."
"Nooo'.Adi'you did not tell him, tell me you really did not tell him" holding his color Geet shook him, "why oh why did you have to tell him'..I can't face him just now'I will have to go away before he comes" saying she rushed from there.
