Indeed. Alcohol is certainly the cause of all our lovely Sneha Madam's problems today...vaise to she was already a few apples short of a bushel, and drinking such copious amounts of the stuff could only lead to extensive loss of the tiny amount of grey matter that she does possess...
Well, here's the why's and wherefore's:
Sneha-ji tells Prerna that she's suffocating inside the house and needs to go out and have some fun. Prerna is not happy: concerned for Sneha's safety while this whole "I-am-back-but-who-am-I" hungama is going on, but as usual Anu-baba doesn't mind risking his childrens' lives, and he convinces Prerna to let her go out.
Sneha goes to a bar where she meets some friends who remind her of Sharad. Sneha begins to drink and soon loses her balance. You'd think that after Mukti's whole "date-rape" drug scenario, these women would have wised up to the perils of drinking alcohol and bumping into strangers in bars. But like I said, Sneha was never the brightest tool in the box, which is why she asks some random guy to take her to her car. Of course, the random guy being yet another Sharad-alike in his thinking (are all the guys just waiting for a girl to slip up so that they can have their way with them?), he takes Sneha to some abandoned warehouse-type place where she lies unconscious.
Now Mr. Shravan "I-have-cowdung-for-a-brain" is also at the bar and overhears the guard telling Sneha's driver that she went in some car with some dude. Cue worried/suspicious? look...
She wakes up and starts panicking when she sees a male shadow. Sneha, at least you are awake. Maybe now you will know how Mukti felt...I still can't forgive this girl for the way she treated Mukti.
Speaking of Mukti, she and Prem are still auditioning girls for their event and Prem still can't decide on a girl (Aint that just typical of him? ). He tells Mukti that he wants something "HOT"...well Prem, you seem to know all the "hot" girls in town, so why don't you find someone?
Mukti tells him that he's practically seen every model in Mumbai, and how is it possible that he doesn't even find one of them hot? Honey, maybe he wants YOU....?
Just as things finally DO start to get hot, via mobile phone comes the Kabab Mein Haddi No. 1: Sneha Bajaj/Basu/Gupta/Whatever.
Waah, waaah, Mukti, mujhe bachalo!! Why she didn't call her Anurag Papa or even Tushar Bhaiya, I'll never understand. Why did she want Mukti there?
Luckily for Sneha, the weirdo would-be rapist has brought her to a place where not only are there windows, but everything is clearly signposted so that people will have no trouble finding and rescuing her. How kind of you Mr. Rapist...
Prem has a problem with Mukti leaving the auditions. Mukti, its mean to tell him that he doesn't care for anyone when you haven't even told him what's going on...how should he know his sister's in trouble? OK, when he does find out, they both leave to rescue Sneha. Not that she deserves it...
Back to Sneha and she's still trying to fight her way out of the locked room...only its not locked very well....she escapes into an outer room where she is followed by a man. They play hide-and-seek for a while and then....dun dun duuuuuuuuun! Sneha's phone rings. Its Prem, but Sneha can't pick up because the phone is somewhere that she is not.
Mukti and Prem (my heroes ) arrive. Mukti comforts Sneha whilst Prem looks to exert some brotherly anger out on the offender. Mukti holds Prem and stops him. At her touch, THAT song (Kabhi Na Sukoon Aaya ) plays and Prem looks at her in surprise. I'm guessing Mukti too was surprised as were we, but remember Prem, this is in no romantic context. She's not thinking clearly...concerned as she is for Sneha.
Awkwardly, she removes her hand from his arm (why, sweetie, why?) and tells him that he shouldn't go because it is dangerous. Again with the baffled look (or is it relief?) on Prem's face...to fast forward the awkwardness, both now focus on Sneha, Prem hugging her. Well, at least you care for your sister..
Prem runs off in anger, promising not to spare Rapist-dude...he chases some guy (you'd have thought the guy would have left the building by now...he had enough time) and it turns out that the guy is.......................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ .......................................................
Shravan.
Only, Shravan seems to say that he wanted to save Sneha, not kill her. Suffice to say, Shravan is hardly the epitome of truth (hmm, come to think of it, neither is Prem) and so Prem does not believe him. Then ensues some "haatapai" between former brothers which may not be very nice but is certainly hot to watch...
OK, now they're using weapons....hmmm, not such a good idea after all...
Sneha and Mukti and Sneha's driver come over and stop the "fight", breaking the two enemies up...of course, once again, Mukti (unknowingly or willingly) holds onto Prem. Nobody touches Shravan
Sneha's driver backs up Shravan's story and tells Prem that Shravan helped the driver get here. And how did he do that? No one knew where that man took Sneha save for Mukti who was told the address...how did Shravan know? Blooper time!
Shravan leaves.
At Bajaj House, Prerna is no doubt cursing Anurag in her mind, but her mouth speaks the words: "I can't believe you drank, Sneha".
Apologies ensue. Sneha tells her mom that she didn't do it deliberately, but come on, she certainly knew she was drinking alcohol...
She cries buckets about how she can't forget anything that happened. EXCUSE ME??? What is there for you to forget? How about sparing a glance for Mukti?? She is the one who's been given permanent scars and who may not ever be able to forget what happened. Your pain is relatively less important...
Prem defends her by saying that it is just alcohol, what's the big deal? It may not be a big deal for you Prem, who drinks Red Bull in the disguise of beer, but for Sneha? Its India's double standards Prem...who seems to understand that and walks off in disgust.
Commissioner Uncle makes a gratuitious appearance and tells them that this lady only wants to scare them not, kill them. And then lists all of the instances, incl. Sneha's recent kidnapping, and says that she could have killed them if she wanted. No offence Commissioner, I am sure you got to your post because of your intelligence but the onlhy reason all of these ppl were saved was because they themselves escaped or were rescued, not because "Burkha-Lady" wanted to save them. He tells them that she must have an even bigger plan in mind and she wants something else from them. No kidding.
He tells them that he will tighten their security. Right, because that worked SO well the last time.
New day dawns and Gupta tells Anu that they should tell Rishu everything. Ab Prem se kabhi chup to raha nahi gaya, so once again he sticks his (gorgeous, no doubt!) taang in and give's his two cent's worth. He shuts up when he sees the look on Mother India's face.
Prerna says that Bajaj is coming back after two days anyway, so why bother him now? But Gupta-ji, the wonderful friend that he is, calls Bajju anyway and tells him everything. Bajju naturally gets worried.
Bajaj tells Gupta that he is coming back asap.
Next, a crappy Sam and AB scene. I can't bear to talk about these two, so you'd better just watch the vid
Anu drives his car and sees the same car as the day before. He follows it, calling Prerna on the phone. Does the idiot have to inform Prerna of his every step?? No wonder he gets stopped by traffic police for talking on his phone, by which time the black car has vanished into pollution-filled air.
Prerna too has arrived at Bandra and sees the car parked in some...car park...Anu is still driving off somewhere...
When Prerna gets out to investigate the car, she asks a guard where the woman went. The guard tells her that he saw some MAN leave the car. Prerna is shocked. Don't forget Prerna, that Aparna's son is also a....MAN...
