18th October 2010, 8.30 pm, a show was born like breathe of fresh air. Television industry saw the rise of its first vampire-love tale. Love, Romance, Fun, Friendship, Suspense, Thriller, Horror and Tragedy; stirring every emotion in our heart, we saw a new dream. A beautiful journey began;
PYAAR KII YE EK KAHAANI began!
Holding the hands of Abhay and Piya...We started walking with them unaware of what awaits for us in the future, only because we BELIEVED in it. We tripped, trembled and fell but never let go of their hands. Slowly within a span of few months, this show became our HEARTBEAT! Just like human needs oxygen to breath and stay alive…we needed this show to complete our day. What began with Abhay and Piya became ABHIYA for us…as if these two names are just inseparable and we can't even imagine them apart. Each and every character of this show is special to us like being our own part, we laugh like MISHA, help like KABIR, act stupid like TRACKER and ANGAD, value like PANCHI, stay loyal like DANISH, bitch like T, lecture like CHAND, worry like HASEENA, doubt like ARNAB, scold like JEH, whine like NEIL, care like ALINA, taunt like SID, curse like MAITHLI, love like ABHAY and cry like PIYA. Bonding with each and every character of the show, we became a FAMILY.
Every time Abhay and Piya touched, our heart thumping against our rib cage melted like a bowl of chocolate mousse. Every time Abhay and Piya fought, we felt like banging their heads on the wall and prayed them to be together again. And every time Abhay and Piya got separated, silently we cried consoling ourselves saying they are soul mates. Like little teenagers we blushed, whenever Abhay smiled flaunting his cute dimples, Kabir smirked naughtily, Sid grinned and Jeh laughed. We freaked out when Misha was bitten, loved it when Piya claimed her love, danced when Maithli came back and sighed when Panchi and Danish got back together. Not to forget those many times, we just stayed dumb-struck when Chand and Haseena set the screen on fire with their sizzling chemistry. The power and aura of the RAICHAND family makes us spellbound every time they come together. College fun, true friends, sisters bond, parents love and two soul mates ultimate desire to become one, mixed with the shadows of the dark, terror of the evil and forbidden rules of the supernatural; together we got this show running through our veins! In every step we stood with PKYEK, promising to be there forever rock solid.
This show is not just a television show for us, it's ineffable to us. Bringing all of us together this show not only made us love it like crazy but also gave us MEMORIES and FRIENDS FOR LIFE. Memories which will always be cherished and Friends whom we will always love and miss. Saying goodbye to your favorite TV show is always a painful experience. Every day, we watch, forming relationships with the characters and their lives on the screen. We forget ourselves and start living the lives of the show. That half and hour time, is like our whole world comes to stand still and we are compelled to stick to the TV screen. Magical in itself…Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, gave us a world of our dreams, a love-story which will always be there in our silent tears, in our heart-wrenching talks, in our secret desires, in our love tunes and behold a very special place in our hearts.
Time moves on and every good thing comes to an end, thus our show will also. But before the date gets set, and before with teary eyes we bid adieu to our family, our dearest and beloved show, let's celebrate LIFE, let's celebrate PYAAR KII YE EK KAHAANI. Many shows will come and go, but this one will always be with us, in every sphere of our life. Always reminding us of this beautiful part of our life, when we will grow old and our grand-children will ask us to tell them a fairytale, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani will be on our lips and we will lead them into the world, once where we lived and loved...Into the world of Abhay and Piya.
Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani will always be a part of our life for all of our life. And today, as I end my post with tears in my eyes, I can proudly say that, yes, THIS SHOW WAS, IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE LARGER THAN LIFE!
