AKshay Kumar makes Donation in Canada

Last week, Akshay Kumar visited Khalsa School in Malton, Canada, for a ribbon cutting ceremony. He surprised the kids there with a high tech computer lab. Akshay, who is also a Canadian citizen, has a home in Toronto and the school is in one of the neighboring localities.

Akshay and his friend Ajay Virmani, who is a Toronto-businessman, generously donated state of the art equipment to this computer lab including the latest computers and visual display devices. The technology supplied to this learning institution will make it one of the most advanced in the province and will allow them to continue expansion and modernizing technology in their curriculum. This donation allows the children in the school to obtain a distinct advantage with these advanced learning tools.

Akshay through his philanthropic contribution continues to demonstrate his love and support for children around the globe. The superstar feels that he has been blessed with the best of opportunities and it is time for him to help as many as he can to get started in life, so they can eventually help themselves and with the advanced technology at their fingertips, these children can make great strides not just in Toronto but the whole of Canada. The actor has been quietly making similar donations to many schools in Mumbai, and also workshops that cater to special needs, but doesn't like talking about it.

Akshay believes that children are our future and we must invest in them to ensure their foundations are strong.
