Sorry for the indefinite Delay !!

# Recap for the Benefit of all: Khushi realises her feelings for Arnav after she has a talk with her mother.

# Khushi's mother is worried that her friendship with Arnav may ruin her weddings prospects with Shyam.

# Shyam see's Khushi's picture in the US and decides he will get married to her.

# Garima talks to Arnav and explains why he needs to stay away from Khushi and he assures her he will handle it.

# Khushi comes back home and declares she loves Arnav to Payal...

Ab Aagey ...

Part 8: Am I worthy of your love?

Gupta House:

PAYAL stares at Khushi open mouthed as though trying to register what her sister had just confessed to her !! Then she smiles looking at her sister ...and asks ...

"Yeh koi prank toh nahi hai na Khushi ... iss shaadi se bachne ke liye ..."

Khushi looks helplessly at her sister, and says ... "Nahi GIJoe ... what makes you think I am joking ...

Payal: well, i know you too well, issi liye just confirming ...!!

Khu: help me .. I have been feeling extremely restless since the time i realised this.. dont you all say, one feels happy when they are in love ... Akash ke saath kabhi ... and then she stops looking at her sisters almost shocked face ...

Payal: kya kaha tune?

Khu: umm... wo .. i meant, Akash, ko toh tum bhi like karti ho na, par i have never seen you behave the way I am behaving right now .. issi liye

Payal's face turns stern and serious as though uncomfortable with the question, she quickly says ... " meri baat toh kuch aur hi hai ... Akash mujhe pasand bhi nahi karta ... toh uss baare main sochke kya fayda ...

Khushi instantly hugs her sister for bringing up the wrong subject.. and says ... " I am soo sorry, main pata nahi aaj ya kya boli jaa rahi hoon ... but you know the deal ... I have never felt this way about anyone before ... issi liye its all new and strange ... what the hell... I think I have lost my best friend forever ... I am never going to behave the same way in front of him ever again!!! ab toh uske saamne jaane se bhi darr lag raha tha aaj .. you dont know it felt ... like .. i cant explain GIJoe .. i just cant ...

She sits down all flustered ...

Payal looks at her rattled sister and finally says ... " toh ab???"

Raizada House:

Haan Ab ... responds Arnav sounding confident ... Mujhe aaj hi nikalna hoga .. maine bua ji se baat karli hai aur unke library ko manage karne waala koi chahiye Nainital main ..

An: Chote, aap humse kuch chupa rahey ho na ... batayiye, kyun pareshaan ho ...

Ar: please di, aisi koi baat nahi hai ... bas mujhe thode dino ke liye jaana hai ...

An: Khushi ko Bataya?????

Arnav looks away ...

An: jhagda ki ussey?

Ar: aapko kyun lagta hai, itne silly reason ke liye main chala jaunga ...

An: kuch toh baat hai ... aap hume bata nahi rahey hai ...

Ar: Di ... ( looking into his sister's eyes unable to hold back his emotions) ... uski shaadi tey ho gayi hai ... i dont think .. i want to be around for a while ...

Anjali is shocked ...

An: OMG chote, i can imagine what you must be going through ... after all, tum Akash ko itna pyar jo karte ho ... how are you going to tell him this ???? Chote, come on, you dont have to feel guilty about this ...

Arnav doesn't know what to make of his sisters words. Since he realizes she perhaps thinks he is going away since he cant handle his brother ...

Arnav decides its better his sister thought of it that way rather than spilling the beans to her .. after all, all of this was any way of no use anymore ... what was the use of him telling her ...

Ar: Di, mujhe yakeen hai aap Akash ko sambhaal logi ...

So saying he makes his way out ...

Gupta Residence:

Payal: Toh ab?

Khu: I dont know ...!!! I cant tell him how i feel ... usne mera mazak udaaya toh ??

Payal: dont be silly, he has been in love with you ever since ive known Arnav ...

Khu: Kyaaa ?????? ( shocked) ...

Payal: tumhe chodke yeh sab ko dikhta hai ...

Khu: No way !!!

Payal: yes way!!!

Khushi stares at her sister totally shocked and lost for words !!! her heart begins beat super fast at a moment, then suddenly she feels it has stopped ...

Arnav had loved her all this while? How did she not see it? how did she never feel it? Why was he always so silent about it, if she really meant so much to him? And how the hell was he so quiet even after learning she was going to get married to someone else .. she had just learnt that she was going to get married and this was her state, and if he really loved her then how the hell could he imagine her being with someone else .. She suddenly grew all angry as the realisation hit her... In that moment of rage she simply took her mobile and dialed his number ...

Arnav on the other hand sitting in the bus, saw the phone ring, as he looked at it, it had Khushis name flashing on it ... He was tempted to pick the call, but he stopped himself ... !! He deliberated whether to cut the call, then decided against it ... He was also guilty of going away without telling her ... The phone rang a couple of times before he finally silenced it and threw it into the pocket turning it off...

Totally miffed Khushi sat on the bed, having lost all the color in her face ...

"I dont believe this ... Sab jhoot hai ... sab bakwaas ... "He cant love me ... I mean ... he is not even taking my calls ...

In a moment of restlessness, she says ... "landline try karti hoon ...
"
She dials the number and Akash picks the call ..." Hi Koko ... how you baby ..."

Khushi(irritated): Arnav kahan hai ???

Ak: oh, aaj bhi usi ke liye call kiya, fantastic ... kam se kam itna toh pooch leti ke main kaisa...

the line goes dead ...

In a quick rush she tries Anjali's number this time ... "Di... Arnav ... kahan hai ..." ( by now she is so restless, she has tear in her eyes .. and her voice is shaking .. and she is almost ready to break down...)

An: (gauging something must be seriously wrong) Khushi ... aap ro rahi ho ... Kya hua ...

Kh: Arnav apna phone nahi utha raha hai .. aur main ...

An: arey.. Arnav toh Nainital gaye hue hai ...apni Madhumati Bua ke paas ...

Kh: usne mujhe bataya nahi ... (miffed)

Anjali is silent, as she wonders if she should tell Khushi that he was upset about the wedding, she finally decides to tell her ... " woh jaane se pehle aapki shaadi ko leke bahut pareshaan the Khushi ... unhey darr tha ke woh Akash ko yeh baat bata nahi payenge ...issi liye woh thode dino ke liye chale gaye ... "

Khushi hangs up even more irritated..." Oh so, he was more worried about his brother's heart being broken !! fantastic, and here she was ... thinking all the while, since her sisterr told herr that he perhaps loved her ... she was now stuck.. she couldnt even share anything with her sister ... what would she say ... she couldnt afford to upset her sister telling her about Akash...

Payal hands over a glass of juice to Khushi and tells her ... yeh lo Khushi issey pee lo, aur bolo Anjali ne kya kaha ...

"Sab jhoot hai GIJoe .. he doesn't love me ... woh kahin chala gaya hai... apni bua ke paas, holiday pe ... leaving me all to myself... !!! aur main pagal ... yeh soch rahi thi ... ke .. anyway forget it ... I want to be alone for a while ...leave me alone alright ...

Khushi leaves her sisters room walking into her own ...

As she leaves Payal also gets a call from a friend and she goes to attend it ...!!

Khushi walks into her room cries her eyes out, recollecting all the moment she had spent around Arnav and how, she cant think of marrying anyone else, while she can over hear her parents talking only and only about Shyam ever since they had thought of the marriage ... The mother was even joking about how she would spend 6 months in India and 6 months Abroad with Khushi as it was now her turn to relax while her daughters took care of her ... to which the father joked back... "theek hai, Khushi ke saath, meri bhi doosri shaadi karwa do, jab tum chali jaogi mera khayal koun rakhega ..."

All this banterr annoys her even more as she starts to feel like an alien in her own home ...!!! She turns on blaring music so that she can get her mind off the happenings outside ...!!! and amidst all this there is only one name and one face in front of her eyes ... ARNAV !!! He had taken over her senses completely and he suddenly become such an important part of herself that she hated the fact that she had come to realize all this all of a sudden... why didn't she know before? Why did he go away?? Was the reason really what Anjali di had told her ??? She didnt know ...!! Arnav!! Arnav... Arnav ...!!! I ... Lovee... You ...!!! ( she said, and gulped as though each time she said it, her heart just felt heavier ... ) ...

Else where, Arnav woke up with a start in the bus as though someone were calling him and she needed him urgently ... "Khushi" he said suddenly opening his eyes !!! the bus had just come to a grind hault and the conductor patted his back and told him ... "Hum Nainital Pahunch gaye hai" . He had come far far away from her now, but something piercing inside him said, he needed to go back and be with her no matter what !! This distance just made it worse!! Should he have told her about what he felt for her ??? Would she have understood ??? Was it worth giving it a try? He didnt know ...!! So thinking, he slowly pulled out his back pack and got off the bus, walking towards his aunt's place !!!

Arnav is sitting writing records...

"what the hell... mujhe bataye bagair yahan kyun aa gaye ..."

Arnav looks up to see Khushi standing there with an angry face ...

Arnav: Tum yahan?

Kh: chalo mere saath, mujhe tumse baat karni hai .. its urgent ...!!!

Arnav: main jaanta hoon tum kya kehne aayi ho .. Chali Jao Khushi !!!

Man this part was soo painful to read! 🤢

And the anxiety, restlessness, pain just kept getting worse as I kept reading! Why? Why are you such a good writer? It was so emotional. Khushi's agony and her jitters were heartfelt. Her misunderstandings were a result of her insecurities. He own doubts which clouded her judgement this time also just like all the other times. I can totally relate. I always fear and assume the worst first. Yeh ek aisi bimari hai jiska koi ilaaj nahi!! It comes out of immense love for someone. You depicted that beautifully in this part.

Khushi follows him to nainital. I can't wait for their confrontation. It's high time!!! Dil ki baat time pe na bolna is very risky! But Arnav's reaction was also understandable. Men have their special ways of dealing with difficult situations. And all his reactions and actions were fully justified. Well done babe!!!

It was a fab update. Once u r in luv with and u realise it all of a sudden then u can't take that person out of ur mind and the same is happening with khushi. The precap was the most fab part. Thanx for pm
