Ranveer and Sonakshi to star in Vikramaditya Motwane's next

Sonakshi Sinha is coming together with Ranveer Singh in Udaan director Vikramaditya Motwane's next.

The film will be collectively produced by Motwane, his mentor Anurag Kashyap, Ghajiniproducer Madhu Mantena and former UTV executive Vikas Bahl, who are coming together to form their banner called 'Phantom'.

'Phantom' has pulled off a casting coup by getting the over-committed Sonakshi together with the under-committed Ranveer Singh for a quirky unconventional love story.

Sonakshi has the most clogged date diary. According to a source, she has not a single date to spare until the end of 2012. And yet, Sonakshi was so keen to work with Ranveer Singh that she made an all-out effort to accommodate Vikramaditya Motwane's film.

According to a very reliable source, Sonakshi is committed to shooting for new films from now till the end of 2012. In fact so clogged was her date diary that Sonakshi almost opted out of the Ajay Devgn starrer Son Of Sardar.

Says the source, "Sonakshi just couldn't seem to fit all of it in. She was on the verge of opting out of Son Of Sardar. But somehow managed to squeeze it in. After Sonakshi completes Joker with Akshay Kumar she goes straight into Sajid Nadiadwala's film with Shahid Kapoor, followed by Son Of Sardar, Dabangg 2 and Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick."

Sonakshi made a frantic effort to accommodate Vikramaditya Motwane's film. Apparently, both the director and the leading man were very keen to have her on board.

Says the source, "Sonakshi was keen to work with Ranveer for a year now, and so was he. And besides which actress would want to say no to the director of Udaan?"

When contacted producer, Madhu Mantena confirmed the casting of Ranveer and Sonakshi for Motwane's film.
