To protest against the marriage of shivaji, just imagine if she had also done "aamaran ansann".

A queen is always surrounded by her maidservants esp her friends brought as dahej from her maikaa. Saibai bilkul akeli hai...so strange

nothing so strange in this at that time it was very usuall that the king marriage fir the sake of thr empire , so no need to go against it n when shivba assures her that he loves her.

saibai is the first love of shivba and she also knows that..so she has no need to start starvation

Shivba at this stage, is not a king. He is a jagirdar, ie in English language a "chieftain" and also "mercenary" of some sorts.

That's why, he wants swaraj.

The truth why Jijabai wants Swaraj is that her father and brothers were killed treacherously by the Sultan(not adil shah) for whom they were working.

Remember 2 weeks back, she had told," Main toh sirf swaraj ke liye jii rahee huu."

Just see the coincidence, she passes away just after her son becomes coronated as a King/Emperor.
