An elated Dadda Chalukya tells Gayatri Devi that he has sent a messenger to inform Shobha about the birth of Chaula.
Shobha is left upset when the soldiers of the palace refuse to allow her inside. They state that they could allow the princess in the palace only after sunset. Shobha convinces the soldiers, who allow her to enter the palace.
Shobha quietly watches Gayatri Devi and her new born from a distance. While conversing with Adinath, Dadda notices Shobha. Shobha requests the king if she could meet Chaula.
Dadda ignores Shobha's request and continues to talk with Adinath. He tells Adinath to invite the subjects of Bharuch and the kings of different kingdoms to celebrate Chaula's birth.
Believing that Dadda's soldiers would be busy celebrating Chaula's birth, Bhanuman gets elated since he would have no difficulty in helping Mahmud Ghaznavi to enter Bharuch.
As usual Shobha secretly comes to Kirit Chalukya's chamber and applies the ointment on the disabled king's feet. Before leaving from the chamber, Shobha realizes that Kirit has woken up from his sleep and quickly hides. However, Kirit notices her. Shobha gets elated when she notices Kirit standing on his feet.
When Shobha draws Kirit's attention and tells him about it, the king loses his balance and falls. Kirit rages and pushes Shobha when she offers to help him out. Shobha leaves Kirit's chamber in sadness.
Bhanuman informs Mahmud Ghaznavi regarding the occasion in Bharuch. He tells the Sultan to take the opportunity of the celebration and sneak his soldiers in to Bharuch.
Shobha gets a nightmare wherein she sees that Chaula's life was in danger.
