maybe it has to do with some real life issues as opposed to reel life - getting a point across to the watching public. that if u decide to get naughty between the sheets, then be prepared like an adult to deal with the consequences which may present at a later date!!!!

maybe it highlights the case of lacking in responsibility and sensibility, which in turn lead to the pregnancy.

also the POV that abortion isn't the quick fix solution for all unwanted pregnancies - due to medical reasons, gone too far long in the gestation period, ethical and personal or religious beliefs etc. which varies from person to person. its not we did the chamchuck (dats what they called copulation in 'Angel' da Buffy spinoff, had the abortion, and everythings okey dokey n back to normal - far from it, it jus opens another can of worms!

also the dampener on the abortion thing means choices are limited - does she have the baby and keep it, or does she give it up for adoption!!!

ohhh kekta mai, y do u start so many issues n never resolve them? there's jus too much to remember n keep up with. lets hope she don't drag this on for too long, or even better, forget n start something new!!!!
