Aastha is muttering to herself angrily in the kitchen that if he wants to joke, he can joke with anyone else, why does he have to joke about her God? The tea is about to boil over but Madhav removes the pan in time. He tells her that Chaturvedi and Inder have left and they looked upset when they left. He asks her what she said to Inder. Laajo brings laddoos and asks Madhav to go and send them over to Baapji's
Baapji is enjoying the laddoos at his house and his wife says they should distribute them around to let ppl know what great mithaai is there at their samdhis. She offers the ladoos to Trishna who makes a bit of a face uncomfortably but seeing Baapji eat the laddoos, takes a tiny piece as well. She tells Baapji that the papers for the Hospital land have been prepared and the deal has been finalized. Baapji turns to his wife, Jaanki and asks her if she remembers many years ago when in their one room house when they had a Janaki Ayurvedic hospital and she says yes she remembers. He says he is happy that after many years finally a big hospital is being made for all those poor ppl. Janki says that it's all God's grace and whenever a new bahu comes in the house, something shubh happens. When Trishna had entered the house, Baapji had built a well in her name, for the middle bahu, he got a college built and now the new bahu is about to enter their family and already a new hospital is being made in her name. Trishna's face falls on hearing this.
Chaturvedi puts a dummy on the bed and Atharva asks him what he's doing. He says this is a way to shoo mosquitoes away.
Atharva takes his guitar outside and starts to play it thoughtfully while thinking about what Baapji told him about Aastha and then about meeting Aastha for the first time (laddoo scene) and then Aastha's outburst about how Baapji and his family are all God for her.
Chaturvedi comes there and asks him what he's thinking about. He tells him that Aastha is a very nice girl...she may have spoken in a loud tone but she did it only because of her shraddha towards Baapji. Atharva says the question is not about being good or bad. He found that more than an ordinary girl, she is a bhakt. Chaturvedi says that he shouldn't think so much...Baapji must have thought this through before choosing Aastha. Atharva asks who did Baapji choose her for? He says he wants a wife, not a bhakt, not someone who considers him a bhagawaan but is willing to atleast joke with him sometimes...someone who is angry with him sometimes, kabhi woh roothe, kabhi main...He says he wonders if Aastha will even be able to open her mouth around him after marriage. He says they should head back home in the morning. He's seen what he needed to see and he goes back to playing his guitar.
At Aastha's house, she and her sister are lying on the bed trying to sleep. Manu asks her why she hasn't slept yet. Aastha turns to her and says, "Did I scold Inder ji too much?" Manu nods yes and says she thinks he'll go and tell Jeejaji that this ladki is very tez and ladaakuđ...Aastha says she is not worried about that. She says she fears herself. Inder ji was right when he said how will she be able to see the image of her God in a human being. How will she be able to make her God's home her own. She says I really haven't seen anything much of this world beyond this village, nor a big house.
Atharva is still playing is guitar and thinks to himself, "Will Aastha be able to move beyond being Baapji's bhakt and be my wife?" On the other end, Aastha also asks herself this same question.
Later that night, someone knocks on Atharva's door. Atharva asks who is it. Manu calls back that it's her. Atharva says ok he'll open the door. Manu says, not the door, open the window. Athava looks puzzled but goes and opens the window and sees Aastha outside. He looks surprised and asks her what she's doing here so late at night. He asks her why she's at the window, he'll open the door for her. She says no, she's fine here. He asks her what the matter is. She stammers a bit and then says she thought she shouldn't come but then years old tradition would have been broken. He asks her what does she mean. She says, I said a lot of things to you today and hurt you as well, which is why you left without having tea. Athava smiles. She says I've come to apologize. Atharva says if she had to apologize, she need not have come here so late at night, she could have come in the morning. Aastha says no, the thing is that in her entire life she hasn't slept with any burden or bojh in her mind. She tried today but couldn't sleep. Atharva moves closer to the window and sits down on a box and asks her, "bojh?". She says her father has taught her that if you hurt someone, you should apologize that very day. She says she'll leave now since she has to go to the riverside in the morning with her father.
She walks away for a bit then stops and turns back. She hesitates and then tells him she made one more mistake. She say says she gave him a gaali two times. Atharva looks confused and asks her when did that happen? She says he was doing something that she didn't like...he asks her what did he do? She says he was looking at her. Atharva says, 'dekh raha tha? Woh toh main abhi bhi aapka dekh raha hoon' She says, 'aise nahin...waise dekh rahe the'đ He says, 'waise kaise?' She says like some guys look at girlsđ He looks amused and asks her which kind of guys are these and what kind of girls do they look at?đ She says some guys keep standing outside their school and watching the girls...that's what she meansđ He smiles and says achha woh?đ She says yeah...I thought you too were watching me like thatđ that's why she gave him two gaalis inside her mannđ but now she feels she was wrong and wants to apologize...she says sorry and Atharva watches her in wonder... Manu asks her to hurry up cuz someone's coming and they both leave quickly.
Chaturvedi had been watching this entire exchange in bemusement and now pretends to wake up and asks Atharva why he's awake. He should sleep cuz they have to back to the aashram in the morning. Atharva says no, they won't go back to the aashram...they'll go to riverside instead. Atharva walks out of the house and smiles thoughtfully again.
Epi Ends.
Precap: Atharva sprains his foot and Aastha asks him what happened. He says he's in a lot of pain. Aastha tells him to take some mud and make a lep out of it and put on his foot. He asks her if she will put the lep on his foot for him. She looks surprised.
