Baapji's house:
Atharva asks everyone what all happened while he was gone and everyone lapses into silence not saying anything. Atharva looks at everyone in puzzlement wondering what's going on. Baapji looks turns to look at his wife and then looks down thoughtfully. Atharva then changes the topic asking if Baapji uses the cycle he got him. His mom replies that no he doesn't and it's still sitting locked away somewhere. Baapji smiles as she says that he should exercise a bit. Atharva also tells his father the same. Baapji replies that the only way to enjoy cycling is in fresh open air and says that him and Atharva will go cycling in the evening together. Atharva agrees.
Atharva then distributes various gifts to everyone. He gifts a phone to Trishna. She accepts it with a smile then thinks to herself, 'kahaan Aastha, kahaan Atharva...pata nahin jab pata chalega, kya kahega'. He continues distributing gifts to everyone else and Baapji smiles in happiness seeing his son back.
Later in the evening:
Baapji and Atharva are cycling together. Baapji asks Atharva which all laws were discussed in the law seminar. Atharva mentions that they discussed extradition treaties and he gave some examples from the Vedas which surprised everyone there. They were surprised to learn that to learn that such laws had been discussed in such ancient texts. He then mentions that he met some of Baapji's bhakts who were telling him of the miracles that Baapji has performed.
Baapji asks him does he know how an ill person is healed? Because all his faith is in Baapji. He think he is being healed by my touch. It is that belief, that faith that carries him through.
He then changes the topic and asks Atharva how much faith does he have in him and his decisions? Atharva say he has complete faith in him and the Aashram in every way. Baapji then tells Atharva that he has chosen his life partner for him. He was given a command from God and he chose his bride accordingly. Atharva is shocked...Baapji continues on saying that she is the daughter of a potter and lives in Janakpur village...he has promised her that he will make her his bahu...Atharva is still shocked and stops his cycle while Baapji keeps riding ahead. Baapji cycles back and asks him what happened? Atharva says that the chain on the cycle has come off and kneels down to fix it.
Baapji watches him struggle with it for a bit, then smiles and says you've done your graduation, law, attended law seminars but still haven't figured out how to put on a chain. He bends down to help Atharva...A insists that he can do it, Baapji says he will only complicate it more. He says that he knows Atharva must be thinking what happened that his father had to suddenly announce his marriage like this? That too without asking him. He cites the example of Atharva taking the sick child to the doctor cuz the situation was such...He says in the same way that is how the situation came in front of him that he had to take this decision.
He says Aastha is a very nice girl and he knows that Atharva is a modern guy. If he wants, he can meet her, get to know her and if he feels that she is not right to be his wife, then Baapji will take back his decision. Atharva looks on thoughtfully as Baapji says all this. Then Baapji smiles and says he knows that won't happen. Atharva asks him, "You have a lot of faith in Aastha, right?" and Baapji says yes, he has a lot of faith in Aastha and he has even more faith in Atharva and he knows that he is very sensible and has a lot of foresight who will be able to understand what he is saying. He says he asked a lot of complicated questions from Aastha and she gave very simple answers to all of them. When she can be such a big bhakt of his without ever having met him, then she will prove to be a great life partner for Atharva. By now Baapji has fixed the cycle chain. Atharva says whether it's a cycle or a person, when Baapji touches them, the biggest of problems get solved easily.
Aastha's house:
She prays to God to get good results in her 12th exams.
Madhav wonders to his wife that Baapji's son hasn't even seen Aastha yet. He should meet her once and agree to this rishta as well only then he will feel relaxed.
Aastha wakes her sister up and asks her to go with her to see the results.
Baapji's house:
Trishna is showing pictures of some girls to Atharva on the laptop. Atharva comments that they are all ek se badhkar ek and Trishna had done a lot of mehnat for him. Trishna comments that this is sadly of no use now since Baapji has already picked a bride for him. Atharva jokes with Trishna that none of the girls can match up to her. Trishna smiles and hits him playfully. He then asks her what "Ms. Janakpur" i.e Aastha is like...and if she has a picture of her. Trishna says she doesn't. Atharva tries to get some info out of her but she gives him vague answers and then tells him that he should go and meet her and see for himself. She tells him that everyone has their own viewpoint of looking at something...everyone has different expectations from the new bride...but it is his viewpoint that really matters and he should decide if he wants to make everyone happy or himself. Atharva again asks her for her viewpoint and she sidesteps saying, 'there is no point to having this viewpoint since Baapji has already taken the decision...but only Atharva now has the power to change this decision". She says she has accepted the decision but has some questions...like if Aastha has any idea what cornflakes even are etc. etc. Kuhu walks in and insists on going with Atharva to see Aastha. Atharva refuses and says he will see her first...and they leave.
Atharva tries to get some info about Aastha out of Chaturvedi but he doesn't tell him much either. He then tells Chaturvedi that they will go and stay in Janakpur for a few days to get to meet Aastha etc.
Aastha's house:
Aastha's sister tries to tease her by putting some makeup etc. on her and teasing her about ppl giving her offerings. They leave to go get the results.
Atharva and Chaturvedi reach Janakpur in a jeep and they pass Aastha and her sister going on a rickshaw but they miss seeing each other. . Chaturvedi steps out of the jeep to go talk to some ppl. Atharva sees the rickshaw from behind and calls out that the dupatta is hanging out from one side and about to catch in the wheel. Aastha's sister turns and fixes the dupatta and calls out a thank you to Atharva and they leave.
Chaturvedi introduces Atharva to the villagers as a person from the Aashram who is helping out with wedding preparations. They then head to Aastha's house where Chaturvedi accidentally blurts out to Aastha's parents that Atharva is their hone wala damaad.
