The Budding Want

Piya picked the car keys from Abhay's jacket, opened the back door and helped Abhay in. She took the driving seat and started drivingseat and started moving Abhay from the plants and college. After some time she left the main road and started driving in the road that led to the northern jungle as Piya knew that Abhay lived in the heart of the wild jungle. Piya turned to see Abhay and found him laying dead in the back-seat, he was whitier than a corpse, it was only his occasional breaths that showed any trace of life in him. After few hours on not finding his house Piya took a sharp turn and drived into the jungle. The northern jungle was denser than the one around MC, the trees were thicker and taller and the sun rays would never pierce through the tree tops to the ground. Piya couldn't believed anyone would ever live in this area. In minutes Piya found it impossible to drive in the dense jungle, on seeing a huge oak tree Piya stopped the car and got Abhay to the tree. Piya was terrified as Abhay did not respond when she dragged him out. She put him down and starte searchig for somwthing that would help them.

Abhay slowly opened his eyes and found that he was in the forest. After a second he remembered standing in the college corridor and was shocked. He got up in a rush, realised that his jacket and shoes was taken out and noticed a dimly burning fire. Someone called his name, he turned and spoted Piya. If he was shocked on being in the forest now he was totally numb.

Piya – Abhay, are you fine? I tried to find your house but i couldn't. We are far into the jungle and i got confused with road, i couldn't find any people or place to take you and over all ne signal so i couldn't call for help also. I wanted to go and find some help but even the thought of leaving you alone in his jungle fears me to death, what if someone hurt you? Oho Abhay its all my mistake i should have taken you to the hospital, i'm such an idiot. I'm sorry Abhay, i'm really sorry...

Abhay was completely confused. Firstly he had forgotten about todays date and event. Second he didn't stop himself before being totally drained off life. Thirdly he was saved by a human and the one whom he had markedly neglected through the past month. Piya had seen and felt his hostility and anger for a manth and now she was worried for his care and life. Abhay collected himself and spoke.

Abhay – Piya (just calling her name gave him happiness) Piya calm-down. You did the right thing by not taking me to the hospital. I just needed some rest, i'm fine now.

Piya – But Abhay what happened to you? You just entered and you were losing you balance and fainted. Are you ill? Should i take you to the hospital?

Abhay – No Piya. No hospital. I'm just allergic to few plans, nothing else. I'll consult our family doctor. Whats the time now?

Piya – I don't know Abhay. This place is so dark i couldn't see or understand anything.

Abhay – (its almost mid-night) Come on Piya let me drop you.

Piya went with Abhay, she saw that he was weak but better. Abhay drived easily out of the forest and in some time he dropped Piya in her college.

Piya – Good night Abhay. Take care and drive well. Meet you tomorrow.

Abhay saw Piya going into the hostel. Piya had helped him, saved his life and his families existence. He owed his life to Piya. Abhay decided that he would stay away from Piya but from now he would be Piya's shadow. He would save her from all dangers and protect her from the evil of world. He was planning on meeting next morning and having a little talk with her. He yearned to hear his name being called by Piya. But he stopped in mid-sentence - "Your the darkest evil in the world and the biggest danger for Piya. She saved your life, saved your family from being exposed, dare you think about getting close to Piya. She deserves happiness, she deserves life." Thinking this Abhay went back to the dark jungle.

In Piya's room, she was busy writing in her purple book, -

Dear Moony,

I was so very terrified today. I thought i had lost Abhay. Thank God he's fine. What he told me today (the allergy) is a lie, but one day he will tell me the truth. Abhay Raichand from now on if you wanna hate me or avoid me.. go on in you plans, but i'll be there for you when your in danger. You belong to me as i belong to you. Yeah i belong to you, you want me as much as i want you, you can go on pretending that you don't care for me but i could read the truth in you eyes when you took my name. There is a longing in you for me. All of your walls were broken when you called my name and i felt the deep love you have for me. I don't know why your hiding and holding it back but i will find it and to know the mask i should find you.

Next day in college Abhay acted as if nothing had happened the previous day and moved in his usual chariad, on seeing this Piya also did the same. She didn't try to get close to him of ask him anyting, she told the other she had to leave early the other day as she felt tired and didn't want to disturb others. Abhay saw that Piya did not mention anything about him, but he knew she would not. He was impressed by the way she convinced everyone on her story and realised he wasn't that good when he met Chand-Haseena.

Last night in Raichand House.

Abhay was smiling when he entered the house.

Haseena – Abhay where were you the whole day?

Abhay – (he hadn't noticed Chand and Haseena) I.. I was in the jungle. In college they were holding a Thanks Giving Feast so i had to stay away.

Chand was looking at Abhay. He was sure Chand had noticed a change in his mood as he was ver happy on being saved my Piya and spending time with her. Abhay couldn't stop himself from thinking about Piya. Suddenly Piya was the center of his world.

Present day in college.

And now he was staring at Piya from morning. Abhay like the way Piya stick to his side but hid it from all others. He rememberred te way Piya called his name, and like it name when Piya called him. He was strong to stay away from Piya but cherished the moments he had spent with Piya (last night) and loved the seconds when Piya passed closer to him. With every passing time Abhay started seeing Piya everywhere, he wished to sit with her in the class and walk with her to her hostel room. Kabir was getting to his nerves. He wanted to throw Kabir out and take his place beside Piya, which was totally wrong. But suddenly all the wrong things in the world turned up to be the very right ones.

Piya wanted Abhay closer but Abhay wanted to stay away from Piya. He only wanted to see her not get her for himself. Till yesterday Abhay wanted Piya to disapear from his world and today she was the center of his world. Nobody know what tomorrow hold for Abhay and Piya...!
