Geet – so…. You are MR. MAAN SINGH KHURANA……. GRANDSON OF DHANRAJ SINGH KHURANA AND SAVITRI DEVI…… she said more to her self than to others……
Gm - so here are khuranas and malliks…… let me introduce you to them…. He said unaware of the tension in the air……… and dragged her to them.
Gm – let me introduce to the person who will take the credit of this evening… miss. Geet mallik……… and geet he is dhanraj khurana….. his wife savitri khurana…. He is his son mr.parthiv singh khurana , his wife priya singh khurana and their three children…. Eldest the maan singh khurana , middle vikrant singh khurana and the youngest and the only daughter anwesha khurana…… and here are the malliks….. he is mr.ranbir mallik…… his wife mrs. Gayatri mallik , their son mr. armaan mallik and their youngest daughter ms. Tina mallik….. and their elder daughter…… he trailed off…..
Geet – what happened to their eldest daughter????? She asked first time in the entire conversation looking at ranbir……
GM – well…. She walked out of the mandap in her marriage… because she loved anathor man or so……
Geet – why?????? Still fixing her gaze in ranbir……
Gm – she was their adopted daughter….. and she walked out on their prestige…. Who knows what blood she carried….
Geet – why didn't malliks enquire before adopting her?????

Geet – oh!!!!! And made a sorry face……. Well them I will pray for the peace of her soul if she is dead….. and if she is alive then I will pray for her happiness ……
Gm – all are not compesonate like you……

Geet – nothing….. I just wanted to say that we should never adopt any road side children …… but should leave them to die… so that they don't get a chance to crush any other family's prestige…… isn't it???????
GM just smiled not knowing what to say…. And a tension lingered in the air…..
Just then a man came running to them….
Man – geet…… geet…..
Geet – hmmm????
Man – a small problem…… need your help……
Geet – m coming…… (to gm …) duty calls … have to leave….. see you soon…..
Gm – surely…..
And saying so she turned around and started to walk away from them without giving them a single look…….

Geet - So guys …… its not a serious problem…. We all are very well aware of what will happen tonight….. so I want you to be very very carefull during the whole programme and take care….. before dragging your partners to every nook and corner just make sure that none of our students are carried away forcefully……. Drugs will be taken …… so if you catch anyone then without making it ovious just disclose every thing. I have got the permission in a very critical situation. And see that no one creats a problem here…. Fine?????

As all left her cabin she closed the door and went to her table to take a file and from that she took out a pic…. It was the picture of her , armaan and of tina…….

The function was on full on. Slowly the guests had started to go and the students were taking their places and their resp. duties. As the khuranas ans the malliks were about to go geet was asked to ascort them till outside. As they were going there was complete silence . every one was looking at each other and then at geet who was walking silently and her words kept replaying in their mind.
As they were near to their car, geet stopped in her tracks and turned around and they saw a boy approaching towards them and behind him were the group of boys who had defended her followed by now three girls along with visakha. The boy came to her.
Geet – every thing under control????
Boy – hmmm……. I want your permission…..
Geet – for???
Boy – they are creating problems…..
Geet - whoh industrialist ka beta?????
Boy – whoh aur uske dost sab bahut problem create kar rahein hain…..
Geet – first of all riddhima ……
Boy – kaun????
Geet – riddhima gupta….. dean ki beti….. , shilpa aur kashis ko dhundo aur un teeno ko is campus se pura bahar nikal do and make sure that no one from other institutions gets to see them neither students nor teachers not any business man…… and call amrit and the group…..
Boy – they are coming in a few seconds……
Geet – any thing more??????
Boy – they are talking a lot of things about you….. specially that suresh……
Geet – you know I don't care about it……
Just then the abhay interviened…
But we do…. And believ me some of your students do care about it…….
Abhel – listen cleo…… we came here to meet you after so many goddamn years and we listen all these bloody rumours?????
Geet – we will talk about it later abhel…… and listen amrit….. she turned to wards the goup of boys who had just joined them….
Amrit – yes prof…..
Geet – turn every security cameras on…. Every room is locked . and I have one set of keys…. Just see that no one means no one is going to do any thing to our girls…. Boys keep a eye in it…… no one should be allowed ……
Amrit – ok…..i understood ……
Geet – and boys take care of your girlfriends…… and believ me if you want to see your GFs alive then tell them to return to their houses…. Geet – they are my friends from my collage…..

Then she quietly turned around and walked to towards the car parked outside the collage gates with out wanting to inform any one and all quietly followd her.
Abhay – we are bringing our cars…. Till then you too take out yours……
Geet - yah and then they went leaving her with them… and then she looked at them… thankyou mr. mallik and mr.khurana for attending the meeting.. and her statement followed a long silence …
Armaan – misthy…..
Geet – ji bhai…...
And all received a shock hearing her response...

Geet – answer my one question mr.mallik…. jab aap gaye the khuranas ke pass rishta leke ya phir jab who log aaye the mere liye rishta leke….. unhe pata nahin tha ki main adopted hoon aur ek christion hoon????? Ya phir un logon ne apne bte ko bataya nahin tha???????
Mr .mallik – YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO QUESTION ME…. U ARE NOTHING WITHOUT ME AND MY TITLE……. AHSANFARAMOSH LADKI….. And raised his hand to slap her when she held his hand.
Geet – mind your tongue mr.mallik…… you are NOT MY FATHER…… AN DHAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK LIKE THIS…… she said in a low pitched voice stressing on every word with an eye contact that literally shook every one and send a chill down their spine….. never had they seen any one so dangerous even maan was shook…….
Mr.mallik - why did you forget that I have……
Geet – adopted me????? How can I forget it????? But by just sighing some legal papers doesn't makes you my father…..
Mr. mallik – then why are you standing here?????

Mr.mallik – you……. And he was in loss of words…… and it followed a long silence only to e broken by the sound of car horn and they saw a car stopping near them. Geet turned back and waved at the person. And soon they saw a man strong and really handsome one coming out of the car and walking towards them.
Geet – maa….. main parson saadi kar rahi hoon…..
Mrs.mallik – kya????? And all ha the mirrored and horrored expression…..
Tina – kaun di????
Well whoh khus kismet ladka mian hoon….. some one said and they saw that same man who was now standing near geet with his hand on her waist.

Man – dev…. Advocate dev agnihotri…… and then he went and touched the feet of mr and mrs. ,mallik. While mr.mallik stepped back gayatri gave her blessings.
dev – maa…. Hum parson saadi kar rahein hain…. Durga maa ke mandir main…. Aap ke ashirwad ke bina yeh saadi adhuri rahegi….. he said in a humble tone…..
gayatri – par bte aapke family ko koi problem nahin hai?????
Dev – naw…. Hamare liye yeh geet hai….. meri princess…… aur waise bhi maa kahin pe likha hia kya ki ek Christian ladki se ek hindu ladka saadi nahin kar sakta??????
Armaan – agar koi problem nahin hai toh saadi mandir main kyun??????
Dev – yeh toh mujhe bi samajh nahin aa raha hai….. mera pura pariwaar cahta hai ki hamari saadi badi dhumdham se ho…. Par aapki behan mane tab na????? ise toh simple si saadi cahiye……
Armaan – dev, geet ko sabhalna itna aasan nahin hai…. Bahot gusse wali aur jiddi hain….. kisiki baat nahin sunti…..
Dev – yeh mujhse behtar aur koi nahin janta ……
Armaan – matlab?????
Dev – aapki behan ko saadi ke liye yes bolne ke lliye 6 saal lagen…. Mian 6 saal se iske peeche pagalon ki tarah hoon…… at last 6 saal ke baad isne mujhse saadi karne ke liye haan kaha …. An d day after tomorrow we are getting married……
Armaan – kya 6 years?????
Dev – ji…. Ab isse jyada jidi toh koi ho nahin sakta na?????
Armaan – you don't know her past……
Dev – main janta hoon…. Every thing from Amritsar to khuranas to IMI…… he said in a calm tone all the while holding geet's waist…… princess has told me everything before saying yes to me……
Armaan – and your family…..
Dev – they don't need to know….. some secrets if kept buried is good for all….. I have no problem with her past….. all I know is that I am her present and she is my future….. and I don't want anyone to question her about her family….. all they know is that she is my to-be wife and that's enough for them……
Armaan – do they know that she is or…..
She is not a orphan……dev said in between….. she has a family and soon she will be geet disouz agnihotri……. And he smiled to himself after saying her name. and a small smile appeared on geet's face too…
Abhel – hey love birds…. If your little chit – chat is over than can we head on????? We all are really hungry man……
Alex – yah princess …..comeon we are really very hungry…..

Geet – dev …. Tum inlogon ko leke jao… mian aapni gaadi leke aati hoon…… she said calmly…..
Dev – sure princess……
And with that he went with them . geet was looking at them with a soft smile spread on her lips. And he was looking very calm and her eyes which were reflecting pain and hatred minutes before now expressed love, serene and calmness.
Geet – calti hoon bhai
Armaan – kahan????
Geet – apne ghar bhai….where I have a family….. good night….. she said and after a brotherly hug she went in side to get her car and drove off leaving them with different emotions.
