I do not think so.. If it happened, then why would they do the pooja for him? If the garland fell down, I think it's something to do with how they died and the culprit.

I thought early on, naniji had said something about love marriage and that destroying his parents.
So I really dont know if Arnavs father had an affair or not.

Also how could one explain the lost of Khushi's dad and mum, even if the affair occured. and how did Arnav's dad die? or did his mother shoot his father and then pulled the trigger on herself.

There was afterall a gunshot. 1 gunshot - 4 people dead. sounds like a murder mystery!
