I cannot understand this particular's character's motives!
Except for the fact that Bhaago keeps shrieking that she loves her son, her actions seems to point in some other direction!
First she made that hue and cry about a simple gold chain that Suraj purchased for his fiancee and after having her son insulted, put down and made to feel needlessly guilty by everyone in the family, she very benevolently tells him to gift the chain to his wife after marriage!😕
And now, she is hell-bent on getting her son married within 15 days! Not out of love, but out of ego and hurt pride! Any mother who cares for her son would not make him go through this rushed marriage only to prove a point. Where is a mother's love in raising hell and going all out to find a girl for her rejected son, only so that she can prove a point to her neighbours?
The whole sequence of getting Suraj married in 15 days looks very contrived and forced! And the fact that Suraj refuses to even open his mouth and put his foot down in front of his mother, makes him look like a pansy rather than a devoted son! He is the lead in a prime-time soap...some amount of spine in his character would not do him badly!
I wish the creatives pay some attention to the character of Bhaabo! a) the actress hams like there is no tomorrow! Too much over-acting and her voice decible is enough to make me run for my remote everytime she comes on-screen. b) Her character should have more depth and definitley more softness, especially in regard to Suraj.
Cannot imagine her reaction when Sandhya fails to differentiate between Moong Dal and Toor Dal, leave aside cooking it nicely, as her mother-in-law is hoping for!😆

I am liking Bhabho's character. Normal middle class mothers do behave in the same manner, especially when the fathers are useless.
It is her anxiousness as her son's marriage was cancelled and she does not want people to pass humiliative comments on her son and family that has made her to take the decision of marriage in just 15 days. Whenever any marriage is cancelled, people do arrange the next as immediately as possible.
I hope the CVs do not make MIL's character completely negative, gray shade is welcomed.

I think the MIL must surely have trained for the stage as even her body language is totally inappropriate!! Its really painful to watch it and it really lets the show down big time! I saw an actress that was playing a homosexual that acted just like that!

I cannot understand this particular's character's motives!
Except for the fact that Bhaago keeps shrieking that she loves her son, her actions seems to point in some other direction! Yes, i want her to tone down her acting , she seems the same to me in every scene
First she made that hue and cry about a simple gold chain that Suraj purchased for his fiancee and after having her son insulted, put down and made to feel needlessly guilty by everyone in the family, she very benevolently tells him to gift the chain to his wife after marriage!😕 Yes, and she feared that she would be loosing her only son whom she love and look upto , as she clearly dont expect any kind of responsibility from both sons, her fear of seeing son giving attention to a gal who hardly came into his life, well she giving him that gold back shows that she was about to give him some thing and she didnot expect him to buy it for her , as this incidence showed her that suraj was dreaming about a happily life wiht his wife which she pointed out to her husband
Its a mi of hurt, and love... and it was shown also , else i dont think she would ask ppl to insult her or give it to that lady saying i would get spited than getting any ira gira gal for him , enough said to understand in that one liner ,its her love for suraj thats making her rush as every one are insulting about him being poorly educated and all , if she truly cares for any one in that family , its for suraj for sure, like said before , just caz one dont express their love in a good and noticable manner doesnt mean they dont love or care for them, esp from parents
He dont have spine only caz he didnot open his mouth in front of his mother ??? i think he is pretty strong as a person , else the way he is carrying himself around is not at all easy , and thats not a quality of obi dent son for sure, and coming to become little stubborn one cannot expect it from his so soon , let him fall for sandya then he will see his mothers wrong and he will surely protest it
I wish the creatives pay some attention to the character of Bhaabo! a) the actress hams like there is no tomorrow! Too much over-acting and her voice decible is enough to make me run for my remote everytime she comes on-screen. b) Her character should have more depth and definitley more softness, especially in regard to Suraj. Nope, her ckt need not be softened , she is like t hat with all her children , she never showed inequality btw them and i like that aspect a lot , yes her acting is same and little annoying though
Cannot imagine her reaction when Sandhya fails to differentiate between Moong Dal and Toor Dal, leave aside cooking it nicely, as her mother-in-law is hoping for!😆 That's where Suraj comes into picture, would love to see MIL N DIL interactions
