Arn: ab kaho bhi Khushi... tumne ussey sorry kaha ????
Kh: are you mad? main sorry kyun kahoongi kisi se ... main toh bas ... par .. par ... (getting angry again)
Arnav knows if Khushi is this irked there had to be a reason, or she would be fuming this way .. the otherwise motormouth was now suddenly so lost for the right words that he knew he would only have to get the story out of her some how?

Khushi ... picks up the cookie and eats it, just cos Arnav likes them that way and not cos she wanted it ... but to her the fact that he had let go of his last share of cookies for her sake was what touched her the most ... she slowly sat down ... and bit more into the cookie ... over the years she had gotten to acquire the taste for the stuff he liked .. but jalebis were one thing she couldn't stand !
Arnav is silent, waitin for her to speak cos he knows she will begin any moment now .. she just needed a change and a diversion of mind ... which she did get ... and now she would blurt, this was typical Khushi .. his Khushi .. the girl he had known for years .. the girl who had become such an important part of his life, that he hadnt ever found the need to befriend anyone else .. and even if a girl did cos he was a good lookin man, Khushi would always make fun of the girls, and drive them away since she thought none o them were ever worth Arnav ... But to Arnav, it had always been Khushi ... he knew no other girl .. that could be a part of his life ... he had never been romantically inclined towards anyone, but he didnt know what he felt for Khushi either ... he just knew, he had allowed her to go out with his brother because he thought thats what she had told him had made her happy ... at times he wouldnt like the idea of driving them around, lying to Amma, sneaking her out of the house under the pretext of some story or the other, but he had been more than happy being around her .. for most of the time Akash and Khushi hung out with him, but when Akash would want to spend time alone with khushi he would always request Arnav through a signal and he would make an excuse and go away .. even Khushi didnt know about it ...
Now refilled with life and spirit, again, Khushi began ... "can you believe he actually asked me to pick ... like i would ... huh ..."
Arn: Pick what ?

Arnv: (intensely thoughtful) toh iss main galat kya hai Khushi... tum ussey pyaar karti ho na ...
For a second Khushi has no answer .. and the she see's him with totally different eyes ...!
