Why are the producers trying to indicate that Malti can't cook? Wasn't she the first bride of the house? Hasn't she cooked before? I am sure she knows how to prepare something more than Aloo Bindi. I remember a flashback episode when Ved returns after playing Dandiya, and requests her to make some Paratha!

The show is entertaining, but I wish the producers wouldn't take all these efforts to make Toasty 'mahaan!' I would have actually liked to see Toasty becoming slightly jealous because Malti is making a place in everyone's heart...that would have been interesting. Right now, the story is going in circles. Malti is again the bad woman, while Toasty puts up with her evil behavior! *sigh*

You can be a good cook and still not a make dish taste exactly like someone else's version of that same dish, especially in Indian cooking where you are going by a pinch here, a handful here... made in a rather large quantity for that many people.

It would an entirely different matter is your were following a written down recipe to the exact measurement.

No matter how hard Malti tries she wont be able to compete with Toasty because her supposed to be biggest LOYAL supporter Pashu is not on her side..and his stupidity wont let that happen..
Shame that Malti looks like a villianess while it is Pashu who is portraying her as such..
What Malti should do is try to see what everyone likes today instead of what she remembers from the first time around..Things have changed and she needs to be on the same page..

I was exactly thinking about the same point and you have put it across very well! The CV's are sidelining Malti's experience and talent. After supplying food to Ashram people and like someone mentioned cooking regularly before she was separated..Malti has to be a pro in cooking. Wonder why they are projecting her as a wannabe or someone who is so helpless! I like Malti's character and would love it if they showed a positive and confident Malti!

The Cvs doing this just to show mahan Toasty, I also wish they show a normal situation and how Malti tries to build and nurture relationship (since now she knows it's importance) and Toasty feeling a bit less important (and jealous) in this new equation😃
