A social parasite is one who gladly remains out of work,and habitually lives off the earnings of others,without doing anyone any good except to himself.He can shamelessly lie,cheat and manipulate others in order to attain his own selfish interests.Pushkar is such a scum.Not only he does no work, despite his frequent chant of ''Pushkar kuch kar'',but he is constantly seen to spend all his time in devising ways to perpetuate his stay at his jiju's house as well as to secure financial gains at the cost of his benefactor's loss.At the same time, he ascertains that there is no other rival to compete with him in this task.So he plotted to hire an orphan girl,posing her as illegitimate daughter of Jogi Thakur in order to lay hands upon his property.The trustworthy Damini was always an eye-sore to Pushkar. He cunningly sowed seeds of poison in Divya's mind about Damini's intentions and had her removed from the residence.What's more,when his own mother fell out of favour with Divya, Pushkar quickly dumped her in the middle of the road,literally speaking.Currently, Pushkar and his goofy wife are seen to spend many a happy moment scheming about their safe and sound future as permanent parasites in Jogi Thakur's house by dreaming to thrust upon him the responsibility of rearing their yet-to-be-born babe.Truly, Pushkar is a first-rate social parasite.
