He stood by me through all kinds of problems

I'd push him towards what I was looking for but as far as the 'doing' part is concerned, I couldn't have shown him because he is so much better at it than I have ever been

There are times when I look up to him to take a decision..He is better than what I was at his age..

I would give him 95 out of 100 for completely submitting himself to me.

He needs to find a partner who is as committed and honest as him

Now that you are 18 and an adult, lets start getting to know each other as friends

If you are becoming successful do it on your own and if you are failing you go through it on your own so that you don't have anybody else to attribute it to or blame for it...

He is honest, hard-working, good-looking, cares for his family, is intelligent and has a very good sense of cinema.

People need to perceive him in a very different manner as he is very special

He has his own personality and his own way of approaching a film and that I think in the beginning I resisted. And then I thought it's a youngster's mind and one must listen to it..

He has huge potential as an actor, which in time the audience will see

I knew I had to write a script for a young actor who is keen to explore an acting oppurtunity, as well as find a story that interests the audience, is inspired by life and has drama

Shahid on Pankaj:

Honestly, I saw normalcy in my life for the first time when I started getting to know dad and becoming a part of his family

Its a very bad cover - no innovation, no father-son warmth, nothing in the photograph to call it a cover. But the inside scans are still better.

Pankaj Kapoor looks a misfit in that suit because that is not him. Shahid rarely gets a bad picture day , now. I won't say he is hot or sexy but he is definitely handsome now. The cute chocolate looks are making way for classic , worn out good looks. The older Shahid gets , the more handsome he is gonna be.

I love white shirts on him. He carries formal wear so damn well.
