..because today they ruined the whole meaning of kallari paitu, for the first time i am disappointed with this show. I won't blame the dancers because its not their fault, its the choreography that was wrong.
After the whole performance i was like.."😳" <- this, oh yes that was my expression because i know what is kallari paitu, i personally come from a very much orthodox family in kerala, and i've seen people perform it in front of me. And firstly its not a dance form, and secondly the whole look, the costume and the song dint go with the form.
just a message from my side to the production house- Please do not choose styles if you can't do at least 50% justice to the style, because that performance according to me did nothing more than 10% justice to kallari paitu.
and i'm not saying that you can't modify and do the style, no, but at least do not degrade it if you can't do anything out of it! 😳
