To be honest...

I dont think Ekta can be brave enough to portray a gay couple in KZK!! Coz homosexuality is a such huge issue in India right? (Remeber the film 'Girlfriend'? that caused such a frenzy!)
I think that if she dus portray a gay relationship, ppl might boycott her show(Or mayb all of her shows), which she wudn really want.

I agree Niki, which is both sad and hypocritical on Ekta's part considering some of her fave shows are King of Queens and Will and Grace (Unless I am mistaken...I remember reading it somewhere.) But even she acknowledges that Indian audiences still aren't willing to accept this as a part of real life. Like the film My Brother Nikhil, which was about homosexuality and Aids...yes, it got critical acclaim but it was and is still labelled as a film with "a social message"...its not mainstream and commercial. If that's the situation on the big screen, it must be even harder to portray this on the small screen where everyone watches these shows and pays closer attention to them.

yeah this is the reason i dont think that ekta will want to portray such a track i think if she does it will defintaely affect her trps and bring them really down (rape track ne1)
