An Indya source reveals, "Rashmi Desai absolutely hates people who smoke and has always wanted to do something for this cause. Incidentally, her driver when appointed for the job told her that he doesn't smoke but one day Rashmi caught him smoking. Rashmi immediately gave him an ultimatum to either quit smoking or quit the job. The driver stopped smoking since that day and even his wife was all praise for Rashmi, who got her husband rid of the disgusting habit. She personally came and expressed her gratitude to Rashmi."

Though Nandish Sandhu aka veer and Rashmi Desai aka Tapasya of Uttaran, formalised their year-long affair with a court marriage sometime back, the couple have not really got a chance to go on an 'official' honeymoon.

A family wedding recently came as a blessing in disguise when this couple could take some time and fly off to Canada for a fortnight. Says Nandish, "The houses there are cute, no big buildings, just farmhouses and strawberry fields. It was an awesome experience." Among other sightseeing trips, they also indulged in some adventure sports like white water rafting. "It was our first time and Rashmi was nervous but I loved it. I am an adventurous kind of a person and for me it was the best part of the trip," he says.
