Ten years ago many of us were affected by the most brutal and shocking news in US history. On September 11th 2001, multiple terrorist attacks targeted the Pentagan [in DC], the World Trade Center [in New York City] & Philadelphia. Many innocent lives were lost that day. No one knew what was going to happen that day, 10 years ago.

September 11th, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks that shook our nation. It is a day to remember all those lives that were lost in such a brutal way. It is a day to remember all the people who put their lives forward to protect our nation. It is a day to remember, to grieve, to bring hope, to bring strength to millions of lives that were affected by these attacks.

New York & DC are being targeted by the Al Qaeda group for this 10th year anniversary. Al Qaeda has something in their mind and the DC & New York have been warned. Just want to say anyone living in those areas, please be safe and alert. There is no confirmation that anything will occur on September 11th in those areas, but we have to take the threats seriously and prepare for the worst.

My heart felt condolences reach out to the millions of people have either lost a life or lost a loved one during this time. Whatever happened that day was just very sick. I don't understand why there are people out there who want nothing but to kill innocent lives. What do they gain out of it? I guess that's one answer I'll never get. I just wish terrorist attacks would just come to an end. But that too is something that I have no control over. It's only a sad fact of life. After the death of Osama Bin Laden, the US remains under serious threat for revenge by the Al Qaeda. I believe the US will be a better prepared nation now.

I request anyone reading this topic to share your love for all the victims of the September 11th attack. It only takes a minute of your time to post & it would mean a lot if you posted something in remembrance of a day that the US will never forget in their history. I also want to request the Global Moderators to make this post a Global Announcement on the day. I realized I made this thread 2 days early, but I have a busy weekend and I really wanted to make it.

God Bless America!

My thoughts and prayers to all victims of mindless acts of terrorism, and the communities that sustain through them.

10 years! Wow !
That evening I was at the golf driving range when I heard the terrible shocking news. Even my Boss SMS me about it. Seemed like the world was ending and the fear still runs through me.

May their souls rest in peace.
With Osama's Death they are all now satisfied.
But the pain for those who lost their friends and families cannot be erased.

Rest in Peace all those fellow Americans who we have lost that day! Hope you're in a better place now! And my condolences to the families that have been shattered on that ominous day! And a huge salute to all the brave men and women who showed exceptional courage and altruism...to all those firemen, police officers, volunteers who came from around the country, and the people who took the very first step in fighting this evil head on, the passengers of United Flight 93! Your bravery is not forgotten! God Bless America!
