Part 12

Dadimaa made her sit next to her. Her gaze instantly went on the album she was holding in her hands. She instantly asked' Dadimaa.. yeh.. yeh kya hai
Dadi' Bete.. u wanted to know abt maan na.. tho aaj ham aapko batayenge.. ki maan kaun hain..
Curiosity built over her face as she listened to each & every word of dadimaa so attentively.
Dadi' Bete maan woh shaks hain.. jis se aap bachpan se pyaar karti thi.. us umar me jab bache ek dusre ke saath khelte hain.. us waqt aapne aur maan ne ek duje ke sath hamesha rehne ki kasmen khayin thi..
She gaped at her startled..
Dadimaa opened to a pic in the album & continued' Bete yeh dekhiye.. aap aur maan.. yeh tab ki tasweer hai jab aap dono ek bandhan me bandh gaye the.. chahe woh riwaz hamne us waqt pura nahi hone diya tha.. par aap aur maan.. aap dono mann se ek duje se jud gaye the.. she paused for a while.. bete aapko aapke daarji dhyan hain??
She nodded her head for a no.
Dadi' Bete yeh sab unhone hi kiya tha.. chand rupayon ke liye.. wo jaante the ki aap dono ke us pyaar ko dekhkar mohinder aur maan ke papa yash ne kya faisla liya tha.. tho bas unhone aapki aur maan ki shadi karwane ka faisla kar liya.. sab paison ke liye.. us ek contract ke wajah se.. a tear escaped her eye..
Geet immidiately wiped it' plz dadimaa don't cry na..
While she herself had tears in her eyes, she made dadi stop crying & asked her to continue..
Dadi' Ham sab wahan se delhi aa gaye.. un logon ko police ke hawale karke.. shayad aapke dad daarji ka apna khun nahi the.. is liye unhone yeh sab karne ki sochi.. Par beta zindagi tho har naye mod par ek nayi chunoti ke sath hamara intzaar karti hai.. delhi aane ke kuch chand mahino baad hi hamne maan ke papa ko kho diya.. is sadme se maan ki maa bhi chal basi.. aur phir maan.. wo tho tut hi gaye the.. aur aap.. aap bhi nahin thi unke paas.. woh tho bas aapki yaadon ke sahare jiye hain.. aur ab jab aap wapis aayin unki zindagi me.. tho jaise unhe ek nayi zindagi mil gayi.. bete ham jaante hain ki u don't remember anything.. but beta plz just don't go away from his life.. plz beta unhe chodkar kabhi mat jaana.. warna woh khatam hi ho jayenge.. plzzz
She couldn't say anymore & broke down in geet's arms. Geet hugged her trying to make her stop crying while she herself was also crying.
Geet' dadimaa.. I promise.. I'll never leave him.. mai us insaan ko kaise chodkar ja sakti hun.. jiske liye mai woh feel karti hun.. jo maine aaj tak kisi aur ke liye nahi kiya..

Dadimaa was surprised hearing this.. even geet didn't knew what she was speaking. She was just too emotional to realize anything. She wiped her & dadimaa's tears. After a while she broke the silence that prevailed in the room. She excused herself & went to the garden & sat there continuously sobbing for how long even she didn't knew. Somewhere she was not sure that why was she crying. For maan??
For being away from maan??
For being away from her love??
For being away from her life??
Or was it just hearing that story from dadimaa made her emotional??
She didn't had any answers of those thousand questions raising in her heart. She felt so unsure abt her feeling abt maan. That is when she realized what she just said to dadi. Oh no.. how can I say that to her.. mai khud hi in feelings ke baare me sure nahi hun.. & I told dadi that I love him..
But I do love him.. wait.. what m I thinking.. love.. maan..
But dadi said na that we loved each other.. & that pic.. our marriage.. oh god.. how is that even possible..
She arched a little back to take the support of the wall & didn't knew when sleep overtook her tears.

Maan came back & saw her sleeping there. Yeh yahan kyun so rahi hai..
He came & sat next to her. As soon as he saw her angelic face.. he just forgot everything. His hand instantly raised up to caress her face. Her milky skin just drove him mad. How he wanted to feel every part of her then. She opened her eyes to find his eyes lost in her. For once, she forgot everything. It was just him & her then. She lowered her gaze & blushed feeling his touch on her skin.
Maan' geet tum yahan kya kar rahi ho..
That brought her back to reality. She realized what she was doing. She tried to get up.. but like always fell on him. They both got lost in each other.. for god only knows how long. He caressed her face' bolo na geet yahan kya kar rahi ho..
Geet' Wo.. mai..woh..
Maan' Tumhe abhi bhi yeh phul bahut pasand hain na.. isliye jab bhi yahan aati ho tho garden me aake beth jati ho.. kyun haina
Geet looked at him in awe' Aap mere bare me itna sab kuch kaise jaante ho..
Maan' Ek tum hi tho ho jiske bare me itna jaanta hun.. ek tum hi tho ho jo meri zindagi ho.. apni hi zindagi ke bare me nahi janunga tho aur kiske bare me janunga..
Geet looked at him in awe trying to register each & every word he spoke.
