Hey everyone
I wanted to discuss Ira because I felt that she has dislikers on this forum. Some of the people who watch this show, are saying that Isha did so much for her and Ira is instead doing bad for her sister. Well, we all know that Isha was the one to show Ira her hatred, even if it was for a good reason. Maybe we think that in these 10 years, Ira would have understood why Isha did all that. But in my point of view, I don't think that she would've thought of that because of the way she lives. As a child we know that the sisters loved each other a lot. And all of a sudden Isha starts to pretend to hate Ira, it's obvious that the way Ira will think is going to change since she went through all that at a very young age. Above that, Ira lives with Indrani who loves her so much that she never ever wants to lose her. So even if in childhood, Ira ever mentioned Isha, Indrani would've reminded her that Isha hates her younger sister. And because of that she grew up thinking that Isha is bad sister.
And then there's Sam. He is also to blame in all this. If he knew the truth then it would've been better to tell Ira that so all the misunderstanding would be cleared. But the most that we have seen him try is only mention Isha's name once or twice and that's it. Even if Ira never gave him a chance to speak, he could've found other ways to tell her. We've all seen a guy holding a girl's arm strongly and then he makes her listen. And if that's not going to work, he could've obviously said that the same thing as Ira said about breaking off their friendship if he ever mentioned Isha. And if that didn't cross his mind, he could've just yelled "Isha did all this for you" and then obviously Ira would've looked at him in shock, and he would get a chance to speak. But no, as far as we've seen, nothing like this has ever been done.
The last thing I want to say is that Ira is actually a good friend. When she found out that Sam loved Palak, she agreed to it and accepted the relationship between Isha and Sam and also congratuled them. But when she did find out that Palak is Isha, what can we expect from Ira. It's clear to the audience that she will try to take away Sam from her because first of all she hates Isha, and second, she has also loved Sam. And her love for Sam does not seem like an infatuation and teenage love to me.
I'm not saying that I agree with what Ira is doing to her sister, but as a child and at a tender age Ira suffered the hatred of her own sister, even if Isha was just pretending for a good reason. As viewers I feel like that we should try to understand what Ira might be going through. However, if you hate Ira because she has come in between Sam and Isha, then to me that's fine because I have hated characters as well who got in between my favourite couples. But if the reason we hate Ira is that she is hating on Isha for "no reason", then I personally feel that is wrong.
I understand that everyone has their own opinions and this was just my personal opinion so please don't be offended by what I have written. If you are offended, I apologize for that.
Thank You😊
