This show is about The Leeladhar, I couldn't stop myself from sharing this Game, designed by saints more than 2000 years back. It was called Gyan-Chaupad originally, now Leela. Played with dice, so "Game of Knowledge".Leela is the univarsal play of cosmic energy. It is this playful nature which creats the world of names & forms- the phenomenal world. It has snakes & arrows & 72 squares representing 72 planes. The game provides a key to the knowledge of, The Vedas, The Shrutis, The Smritis & the Puranas.
The saints who invented this game used the game board to recognise the present state of their own being. The moves were decided by the Karmic die, when thrown represented the presant state of the player. It was a study of scriptures & discovery of self at the same time. This is the uniqueness of Leela-the game of self-knowledge.
The player tosses his die,letting the force of Karma determine,where he lands.It ends when the player reaches cosmic consciousness (Vaikuntha-Loka), if not then he is reborn.
