One of the most loved actors in Indian Television, Karan Wahi, has made a conscious effort of staying away from 'Bigg Boss' despite being offered almost every season so far. The chocolaty boy claims his short-tempered nature to be the reason behind the decision, thus, 'Bigg Boss' is a very scary thing for him.
Karan elaborates, "I lose temper very easily if I'm being bullied. So, considering the amount of time one spends as a house arrest, anybody is expected to behave bad at times. Same goes for me, so, I prefer to avoid such shows, infact I'm scared of 'Bigg Boss'."
He goes on to add, "I have always been image-conscious. I strictly believe that whatever image one creates on television is what audience perceives about him in the end. So, I can't afford to hamper my image before my fans by doing such shows where one also goes about abusing on-screen."
But aren't reality shows the source of quick bucks as compared to fiction? He replies, "It's about preferences between money and name. I strongly believe that one can earn money slogging entire life but name or image is something one can't play with. Once it's tarnished, one can't fetch it back."
So, what about your new reality show 'Jeele Yeh Pal' which is in the likes of shows like 'Roadies'? Does it have cuss words which have become the trend of reality shows now? " No, I have made it very clear in the beginning to my producer that I will be the part of the show only if it is clean in content with no controversies but plain stunts," informs Karan.
It may be noted here, Karan is only contestants among the other television actors who has been a part of reality show before titled 'Mr. and Mrs. Television'. Rest others apart from the hosts Roshni Chopra and Yudishtir will be seen for the first time in reality show.
