I was looking at a thread relate some awards in Thendral section that Thendral won awards. Can you believe what is the best serial? AnuPallavi. how do they select all abathams as best. See below: (posted by Smiles)

Hello Thendral Fans!!

I have good news for all Thendral lovers.

On Sunday August 21, 2011 The Mylapore Academy in Chennai hosted its 42^nd Annual Awards Function at the Sadhuguru Gnanananda Hall. They organized a special event to award and recognize stage plays and television serials for the year 2010. Over 55 awards were awarded under various categories.

Sun TV serials was awarded with many awards.

Best Serial: Ilavarasi & Anu Pallavi

Best Screenplay/Dialogue Writer: V. Thiruchelvam (Madhavi)

Best Director: V. Thiruchelvam (Madhavi Serial)

Best Character Actress: Devi Priya (Madhavi)

Best Cinematographer: Thiyagarajan (Madhavi)

Best All Rounder: Thiruchelvam (Madhavi)

Who were the people in the Selection Committee? Abinaya Creations cast?

This is really a joke- how can they even consider this mattamaana storyline for an award? Shows either the producers were in the panel, or that we are the real minority left in this world!
