Paatti in Nadu theru - looking for an auto. Sundu comes along ..in an auto and offers a lift to patti. Inge Priya is sOgam personified . Enna matter? Anu periamma is sick. Tells VVK that Manju has mattam pOttufied because of that. VVK decides to visit perimma. The conversation between the siblings is heard by Palli - she plans to tag along - she just HAS to see biwi No 1 !! VVK tries to dissuade her but athu yaar sOnnalum kekkara jenmama enna?? Kilambiduthu hospital kku. VVK quickly calls RR and tells him the "good " news of Palli visiting Anu. RR as usual thiruttu muzhi muzhikkaraar. He is near Anu's bed and discussing some thing with the doctor. Palli and co come near the room and the nurse stops them - "doctor is in, pls wait " RR is able to see biwi No 2 through the window.
RR joot vidaraar - yethO door open panni...nazhuvaaarrraaarrr - aww Palli paarthutta . RR kku samaalikka sOlliya tharanum??? Says that he came to see one of his workers who suffered injuries while working. Palli being Palli forces and takes him to see Biwi No1. VVK and Priya play SBT. While Palli and Co wait for the dharshan of Anu, Paatti and Sundu are waiting for the dharshan of Gangai Amman. Both pray for Anu and as luck would have it the karpura deepam goes kaput just when paatti tries to kannule Othify - ambuttu then - paatti pOlamba...Sundu console panna...finally the priest brings the deepam once again - Roja voda nalla Kaalam, she is spared another pOlambal as the deepam stays put. Inge Palli drags RR to see Anu, a drowsy Anu fails to register the visitors - Nurse shoo shoos and RR once again thappichaar !!! Nurse wants RR to meet the doctor and Palli asks " Neenga yethukku doctor ai paarkkanum??" RR has faced this and more 😉Says that his employee is critical " doctor wants to see me, you wait and see Anu, ok?"
Doctor's room - AAR, Ganesh and RR - Doctor says that the surgery has to happen the next day - RR expressionless aa irukkar. AAR is crying - all except RR adjourn to Anu's room. Palli and Anu cootchi cooing, AAR crying...children ellam look as if Anu is a dead body. Paatti comes with the prasadam. Gives a "aRpa pAthare " look at Palli and applies the kumkum on Anu's forehead. Palli looks lost. Anu the good Samaritan asks Paati to forgive Palli - Paatti is livid but just says " unakku Onnum theriyaathu Anu, just get well soon, ok??" Anu says " this is my last wish..that you should accept Palli, will you do it or not??" (athu sari, Roja sEthu pOrathukku munnadi Abinaya Creations kitte kekka pOraa, intha mathiri AdAasu serials inimel edukka maattenu promise pannunga 😉) Paatti looks lost...cries...

Update for Tues, Sept 6, 2011:
Anu says she is on her deathbed and this is her dying wish - that Paati should forgive and accept Palli (Paatteee, here's your chance, tell Anu that this woman is none other than RR's second wife, don't kOttai vittufy this golden chance) - forcibly puts Palli's hand in Paati's. Everyone sheds tears - Paati, Palli and Rukku - and I want to scream!
RR, Ganesh and Sundu outside - Sundu goes to draw cash, and Ganesh goes in to check on Palli. He sees Palli coming out, goes running to the parking lot to tell RR, and he and RR hide behind two cars (this show is full of cowards) and watch Palli go off. RR heaves a sigh of relief and comes out from behind, and guess what? Palli has seen him in the rear view mirror, stops the car and gets out to ask him why he is still there and not in the office? RR is an expert with lies, he says he needed cash so Sundu has gone and he is waiting for him. The other coward, Ganesh, is still in hiding. Palli swallows this lie and leaves, and Ganesh comes out of hiding.
Prem goes to Shree's house, tells her and her mother about Anu and they decide to go to see her. Shree goes to the hospital, sees RR and they go in to see Anu. Anu gives them the good news about paati forgiving and accepting palli. They come out of the room and Paati is upset. RR gets a call from Sundu - the banks are on strike, so he couldn't get the cast (this used to happen all the time thirty years back when I was in India, and I am sorry to see that it is still happening. Worse, I am sorry to see that the hospitals won't take a credit card or bill a patient after the surgery, as is done here)
RR sitting on a bald upstairs somewhere at night. shedding a few fake tears. Rukku and Ganesh come to comfort him. It looks like RR has finally come to his senses - he accepts that he is a coward, he cannot face facts and it is the reason why he is facing these problems today. Glad to see him saying all this, but why is Rukku still insisting that he is a good guy? RR says he won't even drink water till Anu is okay. They come downstairs, Sundu is there, he couldn't get cash. Paati comes there, tells them that the doctor has said that at 10 a.m, Anu's head will be shaved for surgery and to tell RR to stay with Anu and not to go anywhere else at this time. RR wears his usual look (and I have no idea what it means!).

Wednesday 7th September 2011 Episode - 352
Manju all sad at the dining table. AAR, Ganesh & Santhosh walk in. Manju asks how is Anu to AAR, Anu is sleeping. Ganesh wants Manju to call Nivedha so that they can eat. He has bought a dhakunoondu pack of food. (oru pallukku kooda kaaNaadhu adhu) Not hungry is Manju's reply Santhosh says how to eat when amma is in hospital(vaayaaladhaan - amma at home or hospital - ellaarum appdi thaan saapidaNum) AAR says Anu told that the kids wouldnt have eaten anything, so buy something on the way home because it would be too late to go home and cook. (Cant the grown up kids rustle up something) Manju says sorry and leaves, so does Santhosh. AAR tells Ganesh that the children are very fond of Anu, Anu is lucky. Ganesh chayyang chaks and also says that they are also very lucky to have a mother like Anu. Anu must become alright soon wishes AAR, asks for reassurance from Ganesh. Ganesh is influenced by Sundu, ellaam nallapadi nadakkum he says.
Next day at the hospital, RR looking at his watch and paatti praying with tears ( just cant stand such patient attenders...grr..) Sundu lost for an expression, Anu is wheeled out of her room in a theatre gown and head tied with a green cloth. (how come we see her salwar when in a sterilised gown?) She looks at the two expressionless face and the crying paatti. Why cry asks Anu, just shaved off the head, will grow if I survive she says. She asks for AAR & children. They would be there soon. She is wheeled away (can see her hair on the nape of her neck)
Palli at the temple doing archanai on Anu's name. Also prays that Anu should be back soon after a successful surgery. MK, Gopi and SR distributing food at the only temple in Chennai. Palli sees them, asks why annadhaanam? Gopi starts, MK stops him and tells Palli that his customer's wife is getting operated, hence he is praying for her recovery. Palli is surprised that he is doing it for a customer's wife. (ulaga mahaa adhisayam thaan! oru KK customerkku ippadi oru machcham) Just like how we did when your son Karthi went missing says SR. So Anu too should get well soon chips in Gopi. (super Gopi - LOL) Palli wonders. Now the three give an SBT look. MK says his customer's wife's name is Anu. Palli remarks what a surprise ,rather coincidence(indha serialkku pEsaama coincidencenu pEru vechchuirukkalaam..hmm) Gopi asks her what is surprising, shouldnt people with the name Anu get operated at all. Palli also came to pray for that Anu. SR asks Palli if she knows Anu. Very well answers Palli now all show surprise at Palli knowing Anu. (Abinaya Creations do you know this is just kuppai) Palli too takes a bowl of food, if everyone prays for Anu she would be well , thanks them and leaves.
VVK is leaving home (and this is another house) gets a call. RR asks Karthik when are the blood donors coming? They have already donated replies Karthik (indha lakshaNuthula you are taking care of your wife RR - suththam) RR thanks Karthik. RR asks Karthi's whereabouts. At home. Then Palli's. She left for somewhere out early in the morning. Dont know where. RR wants to confirm if she is on the way to the hospital. If Palli visits the hospital now, I am a sitting duck warns RR. Karthik says he will take care (enga pOi irukkaanganu theriyaama what will you take care maNdu?)And why should RR talk to Karthik from his handphone near the receptionist? adhu ennOda doubt. The doctor comes to ask if RR has paid the money for the surgery. 10 am is the surgery, pay money before that he says.
Sundu arrives. Subba Reddy's phone is switched off says Sundu. Where to get so much money from suddenly they wonder. RR wants to go, meet Subba Reddy face to face and get the money. Sundu warns RR of paatti's warning. He would be back soon. Sundu offers to go but RR insists that he would go. RR at Subba Reddy's house ( I assume) remembers Anu telling of her bad dream that RR is leaving her and going far away with someone else. He has tears in his eyes (surprisethaan) RR served coffee by a man, doesnt want, asks for Subba Reddy. The man replies that he would be home soon.
At the hospital Sundu outside Anu's room. The nurse comes out and asks for RR. He has gone out replies Sundu. What about the money she asks. The surgery is scheduled for 10 am. He will pay before that replies Sundu. Have some preliminary tests to be done says the nurse (innum preliminary testE seyyaliyaa - enna hospitaldaa idhu) Please go ahead says Sundu and the nurse leaves. Ganesh joins Sundu. Next paatti comes out of the room. Paatti asks for RR. Has gone out replies Sundu. Where to asks Patti. He gulps, Ganesh looks. (why should he gulp - stupid fellow) Paatti is angry, even now he is not near Anu, has he gone drooling behind that Palli she asks. (valid question) Sundu stops her and says dont talk nonsense (neenga paNradhu / paNNinadhu ellaam enna ) Paatti begins scolding RR, even Palli seems better to paatti now (kizhinjudhu Krishnagiri) Sundu gets angry that Patti is scolding his dear friend,tells her that RR has gone to borrow money for Anu's surgery. (idha munnaadiyE why sollala)Shocked Ganesh and paatti (edhukkudhaan shock aagardhunu vevasthayE illayaa) Because of the bank strike unable to withdram, the hospital is insisting on payment, so has gone to borrow. He says paatti doesnt understand RR's problems - ivanga ellaam what amma and leaves. (enakku varakObathukku appadiyE ...) Ganesh pacifies paatti and sends her in.
RR at Subba Reddy's house gets a call from Sundu. All are waiting for him. He would be there soon, Subba Reddy is just home. Subba Reddy gets updated that RR's wife Anu is going for a surgery. Could have sent through Sundu yesterday itself is Subba Reddy's line. He had kept his phone in silent mode (but not in vibrate mode??and wont you check the missed calls after the conference) so Subba Reddy is sorry. Has some money that is to be given to someone, lends it to RR. RR gets into the front passenger seat of the ambassador car.
Palli comes to the hospital. Shreenithi comes in next. Ganesh sends Shreenidhi in. Rushes to call RR. Hides behind his car and tells RR of Palli's visit. RR is sitting in the backseat of the amby. Ganesh is scared if the problem will magnify before the surgery. RR must come to the hospital to pay. what to do...

Thursday- finally Vinayagar helped today...by exposing the two timing cheat to Palli!
Episode 353
Ganesh on the phone to RR who is coming towards the hospital in his car with the suitcase full of cash (I wonder how come his driver who listens to his dilemmas will not pottu kodukku to any of his biwis I wonder...he seems to be overhearing all of RR's escapades). Ganesh warns RR that Palli has arrived at the hospital to see Anu so RR cannot come there. RR says he must give the bag of cash now for the operation (maybe the doctor has to count the money before donning his surgical gown). RR says somehow he will get Palli out of there and create an emergency for her to leave (maanam ketta manushan!)
RR makes a call to VVK who says he is at the hospital as well. RR erinju vizharaan on him on why he is there, and VVK promises to shoo his mum off from there. VVK meets Ganesh (who is hiding behind his vehicle in the carpark for an awfully long time like a coward because of Palli). Meanwhile VVK calls his other sivagami patti and tells her of the impending danger. (muted luckily). Patti calls Palli and tells her she fell off the stairs and needs Palli to come home right away. Palli says she will have to be there for Anu's operation but Patti says nobody is home so cries to her to come home. Palli tells the story to a sick Anu who tells her to go home. Palli leaves, all heave a sigh of relief especially Ganesh and VVK. RR as usual hiding behind the pillar like a thief watching Palli walk towards the car. After RR slides into the hospital, Palli suddenly turns around, remembering something she has forgotten and walks back to the hospital.
Inside the hospital- Sundu takes the cash to pay the hospital. RR goes to see Anu who is being wheeled away. Anu is confident she will be ok, everyone else oppari vekkaraan like she is already dead. (is this how they give confidence to the patient?). Anu asks him to promise to remain in the hospital throughout. He says yes, and is shedding tears and as usual helpless looking. He slowly follows the stretcher, the nurse ask for his signature on the operation consent form, and while he is signing Palli walks in and catches him in the act of signing. Shocked, she just stands there wondering what RR is doing next to Anu.
(yippee...I was waiting for this day...!!!) Anu calls Palli towards her, and everyone turns around, and is equally shocked, as Palli herself is. RR turns around, (I dont understand his dumb expression, not shocked, just confused...why are you confused? You should be shocked and guilty!). Everyone else looks shocked. Anu introduces RR to Palli as her husband. RR actually says "hello" to her (the nerve). Palli is shell shocked and speechless. Sundu walks in and realises kuttu has been broken. Patti has a "see I told you" look. VVK looks guilty as Palli gives him the "you too Brutus" look that he's in the act too.
Anu is wheeled away and then all focus now on a silent Palli. She stormed out, RR trying to call out to her. He decides to stay behind for Anu's sake and lets Palli go. Surgeon says op is critical so believe in god (do doctors say that?) and goes into the theatre. Sundu asks VVK to console his mum meanwhile.
VVK comes home, and his mum is not home yet. VVK tells the whole story to Viswanathan and Sivagami who do major RKO that Palli may kill herself knowing this truth. VVK goes out to search for Palli.
Outside operation theatre- Ganesh trying to console RR (serves him right) and tries to tell him to be strong. RR as usual talks about what will happen to Anu and Pallavi. Sundu as usual says all will be ok and they will explain to Palli later...thodarum
I must say that Palli managed to invoke some sympathy in me today...she acted the best among them all, and her expressions were quite spot on of a disgusted woman who has just discovered her whole life was a sham. She actually made me feel she didnt deserve to find out about RR's two timing under this unfortunate circumstance, especially with the idiot hubby saying "hello" to her when introduced by Anu!!...so 👏

Anu is out of danger, so now the Palli thaedum padalam begins! Thus goes the story of a two timer, surrounded by liars and so-called well wishers, who call him a tyagi, and he calls himself a victim of circumstances, while the real victims are the two women in his life! Disgusting!

RR is shedding fake tears, and tells Sundu that he is worried about Palli, what if she takes some vibareedhamaana decision, and Ganesh tells him not to worry, they will all go and explain to Palli once Anu is out of danger. Shree is the only one with any brains, she tells them to contact Karthi and find out what happened. Sundu tries, says his phone got cut off. Again Shree gives them the idea - call the land line - these three so-called big businessmen couldn't even think for themselves. Palli's dad picks up the phone, and lies that Palli is in her room, angry and Karthi is trying to calm her, after finding out that Sundu is calling from the hospital, with RR beside him. As he explains to his wife, now is not the time to create new worries for RR, so lying is okay (one more person who is okay with lies!).
Rukku comes to the hospital with Santhosh, Manju and Nivedha in tow. Ganesh tells them about Palli finding out about RR's duplicity, and everyone is shocked (yeah, your dad's two timing has been exposed!) and I am wondering how people go to the hospital, all decked up in jewelry.

VVK tells them about Palli finding out the truth, MK says they will also search for Palli, he will go and look for Palli at her friends' houses and her relatives' houses (he didn't even find out from Karthi who her friends and relatives are, how will he search? Go from door to door all over Chennai?)

Sundu goes with her, he also does an archanai, Paati asks him why and he says he too is a drogi, he was the one who encouraged RR to marry Palli, against his mother's wishes (at least one person who admits the truth). After the archanai, Paati says she feels like a burden has been lifted from her heart.
Hospital - the doctor says they need blood urgently, so RR calls Karthi and tells him to arrange(32 years back, the hospital asked my hubby to get the blood and so hubby had to go to the blood bank - don't these hospitals contact the blood bank themselves? Don't they have a responsibility to the patients>? How can they thrust this on the patient's family? This system is flawed - what if the person is new to town and doesn't know many people? Does the hospital absolve itself of responsibility then?) All the women ask for their blood to be tested, while the men stand around.

On Wednesday, RR got into the front seat of the car with the cash, then while he was on his way, he had moved to the back seat when he took the call from Ganesh, then when he reached the hospital on Thursday, he was back in the front seat again. Was he jumping back and forth while the car was in motion? I wish I had been there to watch this sight!
