Update for Tues, Aug 30, 2011:


RR comes rushing to the hospital, and Nivedha is crying there, while Adhi is trying to console her. AAR and Ganesh also come there in time to join the crying group.

I went to the thirai site last night and found that Monday's episode was posted under Tuesday's date. So this is being written from memory - and since my memory isn't great, please forgive any mistakes.

The doctors are inside, checking out Anu. They come out, and ask RR and Co. to come with them. RR gets introduced to them as Anu's husband. The specialist says that Anu needs surgery and they have to decide, since this surgery has a success rate of just 50%. . RR sheds a few tears and wipes them on his sleeve (and I laugh at his pretending to be so upset!)

Palli at Shree's house. She tells them that the josiyar has said that Karthi is ready for marriage and she would like to see the wedding take place soon. Gayatri sings the same song about the grahams not being right and waiting for six months, but Shree says that she doesn't believe in all that, and they should get married quickly. Gayatri is surprised by this bombshell, but Palli says that if she believes in it, then they should honor her wishes and perform the wedding after six months. I say that they should go ahead and do the wedding and finish this story, and Shree has the same opinion, as explained by her to Gayatri after Palli leaves.

Priya and Manju outside college, they see Balaji with three other guys. They know that they cannot handle him on their own - my question here is, why can't they leave with the other students? Manju calls Santhosh at the site and asks him to come. He asks why she didn't tell him about this Balaji who gives her torture, and then agrees to come. He calls for three of his friends (who evidently have nothing else to do, other than wait for a phone call), they go there and see Balaji going up to Priya and Manju and saying something. The fighting starts between Balaji's group and Santhosh's group.

thurs- Anu kicks the bucket?

Fri - Anu will kick the bucket and Palli will come to the hospital and Paati will blurt out the truth about RR and his two biwis! and I get the honors of reporting on that kaNN koLLaa kaatchi!

Hmmm - no luck as always! Anu is still alive and kicking.

Update for Fri, Sept 2, 2011:

Paati tells Sundu to go ahead with the surgery for Anu. RR goes out with Sundu, then hangs his head and Sundu tells the others that they are going to go ahead with the surgery. Rukku and Ganesh go with Sundu as RR the coward doesn't have the strength (?) to face the doctors. He doesn't have the strength to face facts, either.

Gopi goes home with a sad face, MK and SR want to know what happened, he tells them and MK prays that RR's problems should be solved.

Manju and Nivedha with Santhosh - Rukku and Ganesh are ready to go to the hospital, M, N and S also want to go. Rukku tells them to stay at home, they beg, she insists and gets her way.

Priya calls Manju saying she has come to the bus stop (I thought Priya lived in Saligramam and Manju in R A Puram - the same bus stop for both of them? When did Saligramam move next to R A Puram?) Manju updates Priya about Anu being in hospital.

Adhi goes home and updates RM about Anu being in the hospital and her wish to see Nivedha and Adhi getting married. RM thinks and says it can be arranged, and a simple ceremony can be performed. Adhi says they should wait and get married with everyone in good health.

SR and MK go to the hospital and see RR, Rukku and Ganesh. Paati takes SR inside, then Adhi and RM arrive, and then the whole crowd goes inside. MK goes to buy medicines for Anu. When they all go inside, Anu says that she wants to see Adhi and Nivedha get married before she dies, she is not scared of surgery or anything. Paati tells her that she will live long enough to see Nivedha's grand daughter get married - that will take at least another 42 years, so she will be at least 87 or 88 by then. The nurse tells them all to leave.

RM tells RR about a simple marriage ceremony and asks about the surgery date. Adhi thinks it is better to wait till Anu gets well - ada kashtame, my granddaughter will get married before you two get married at this rate! RM praises Adhi's pakkuvam.

This RR needs to be flogged in public and fed to dogs. Somehow his expressions made me think that he wanted Anu dead by hook or crook.

paatti please when Palli comes to meet Anu, just tell her to stop singing in praise of her husband and tell her she is the stepney.
