medical mein phd???

Today Nandani said ki woh medical kar rahi hain aur ab phd karegi,but as far I know,u dont do Phd in medical,after MBBS u do M.S.So didnt get her😕😕😕.Correct me if I am wrong..

after completing phd the person will be doctorate

I am an MBBS doctor myself.But never heard this degree to exist...🤣

Yes, one could do Phd and MD degree together or separately. There are many schools in US that have MD-Phd program. It is a 7 year program and the ones who finish it will work solely as medical researchers or as doctors who practice medicine while having an active research career.

Actually you become a medical doctor after MBBS but its not a "doctoral" (i.e. PhD) qualification... MBBS qualified "Dr." can however go on to a 3 year research based program to earn the PhD. (i know this coz my sister happens to be a MBBS Dr. who also has a PhD in pharmacology) ...

so technical if nadini has complete her MBBS (by the age of 18🤔 what can one say she's a genius!!) then she can pursue a PhD degree...
