Mona-Anu's room:
Mona is in her nighty and is wandering here and there and is very worried that anu hasn't come nor has he called. Just then anu enters and mona asks if u have resigned. Anu says no before he could do it, goldie resigned. Mona is pleasantly surprised. But she notices that anu isn't quite happy and she inquires. Anu says now his responsibilities have increased as his salary is increased and he also got promoted. Mona is shocked that he got promoted. Anu then gets up and hugs mona. Mona starts swearing at goldie and is happy that he left. Mona then starts yelling at anu that why he didn't call her. Anu says if he had called, he wouldn't have been able to see this happiness on her face. She then says that with this overflow of happiness, you should also agree to the RMJ contest. Anu wonders which contest and then just leaves for the washroom. Mona picks up the paper and look for the ad but that portion of paper is missing. Mona is again yelling for anu. He finally comes out and she again starts her RMJ contest flute. Anu says this isn't possible because he cant dance (what a lier!). Mona says, mai hoon na (im with you), I will teach you, don't worry. Anu again refuses. But mona again is being stubborn. Anu then says that ambaji will never agree. Mona is now worried thinking about ambaji, she says that she forgot to ask from ambaji. She says that if ambaji agrees, then sweety didi, parmeet and them two will dance and she will get nice clothes ready from masterji. She is very excited and turns around to only find anu sleeping.
Next morning:
At Bedi hallway:
Mona is sitting with all family. Gurnam is saying that it is such a nice competition, if you win you get prize and if u dunt win , then it is still good. He hands over paper to satnam and satnam says to vimmy that even we have ram milayi Jodi and he is thinking of participating as well. Vimmy tells him off. All smiles, except sweety, who is looking quite down throughout. (Karan is looking hot today and i wonder why mona didn't mention karan and hetal :s) Satnam passes the paper to sweety and she sadly looks at it. Mona says that even her and anu is thinking of participating. Gurnaam says it is going to be very good. Just then hetal comes with tea and satnam says that she has come on very right time. Mona says that she is thinking if sweety and parmeet should participate as sweety loves dancing. Parmeet is little shocked. Gurnam says it will be good. Mona says then even ambaji will agree and they will start rehearsing. Hetal gets up and hints karan to say sumting. Karan is still thinking when vimmy asks him whats wrong. Karan says that he was thinking mona and sweety are both good and he was wondering who will win out of these two. Hetal is shocked and is sad and leaves. Mona says parmeet we should start preparing. Parmeet says we are always prepared, right sweety. Sweety doesn't say anything. Sweety says she doesn't want to participate in any competition and leaves. Karan says what will they do now, they must get sweety out of this shock. Mona says dunt worry, she will persuade sweety. Vimmy says what if sweety doesn't agree. Mona says dunt worry mummy ji, I hv done PhD in persuading sweety. Vimmy smiles and satnam supports mona. Mona is wondering that how will ambaji be persuaded.
Hetal is in the kitchen and is saying that whether anyone wants or not, we two will also participate in RMJ contest.
Gandhi Hallway:
Mona comes back. Ambaji is yelling at masterji for making sum mistake in the stitching. Mona goes to ambaji and asks whats wrong. Ambaji tells her about the big neckline that masterji has kept for sum suit. Mona supports ambaji. Masterji argues with ambaji but ambaji is getting very hyper. Masterji slowly tells her to ask ambaji about the contest permission. Mona tries to shush him up but ambaji hears and asks which contest. Mona says its RMJ contest and her and anu wants to participate. Ambaji says there is no need and dunt waste ur time in such things, how dirty it looks to dance on open streets with weird type of clothes and never ask about such thing again. Mona is sad and agrees. She leaves in anger. Mona starts yelling at masterji for saying the contest thing in front of ambaji. Masterji tells her to go and make ur MIL understand rather than yelling at him. Mona leaves calling ambaji. Mona follows ambaji to the kitchen and starts saying how contest is really good and only nice people participate. Sejal and bejal also come to the kitchen. Mona says that this way sweety will feel better too. But ambaji says its not a good idea at all as there are many other ways to get sweety out of shock and ambaji says she wants to participate herself saying sweety's name. Mona little sad but then says that this is the easiest way and look at her innocent face. Ambaji says she has said it so she has said it. Mona says but ambaji then she leaves saying that ambaji has closed all the doors and that mona is going away with her innocent face. Bejal comes forward and says that u didn't close no doors, sweety has closed doors for herself, as long as sweety doesn't want, she cant come out of the shock but mona wont listen.
Mona comes in her room and starts talking to herself saying that she has to get ambaji ready, one way or another. Mona gets a call from vimmy asking her if ambaji has agreed. Vimmy asks how, mona says sumhow she will. Vimmy says they are taking sweety to gurdwara, if she would like to come. Mona says she cant as she has to stay here and convince ambaji. She asks vimmy to pray for her.
Outisde on the road:
Gurnaam and sweety gets out of the rickshaw and they are carrying parsad in their hands. Kids come running to sweety for the parsad and sweety smiles at them and gives them some each. Kids leave. Sweety lovingly touches the kids. Another kid comes to sweety for parsad and sweety asks his name. He then says waheguru ji ka khasla waheguru ji ki fateh (sikh prayer line) and sweety replies the same. She watches the kid leave. The kid goes to the bicycle and it falls. Sum aunty comes and slaps him saying that he is becoming naughty. Sweety gets upset and runs to them, she gets the kid away from the aunty and asks why is she slapping the kid. Sweety asks the kid if he is hurt. Gurnam is watching all this. Aunty says that she is very tensed bcuz of the kid's mischievous nature. Every since he is born, he has never let me stay in piece and she doesn't know what bad she had done for god that she got such a kid. Sweety says that why are you saying such a thing, and that aunty doesn't know it is not bcuz of bad deeds but due to good ones. Sweety says I wish babaji had sum mercy for me as well but he has closed all doors for her. The kid and his mother leaves. Sweety is crying and gurnam is worried. Sweety comes home and goes upstairs. Guram sits in the hall and is very sad. Mona comes and asks for parsad from gurnam. Mona sees the tears in his eyes and asks whats wrong. Gurnam says that he cant see sweety in such condition. Mona says that tayaji she cant even see sweety in this condition and she is hoping that sweety comes out of this shock and that's why she is trying her level best for sweety didi to agree for the competition and how sweety will get busy. Gurnam looks convinced. Gurnam says that his wound will never be fully sealed and it will continue to pinch her throughout her life but he doesn't understand how he can heel her wounds. Gurnam is very upset and crying. Mona says that if babaji has done this and then he must fix it all. Gurnam tells her to continue her tries. Mona says that she knows that sweety wont go alone and ambaji wont allow her and she doesn't know what to do.
Night time ambaji;s room:
Mona comes and sees ambaji rubbing her feet. Mona says that why is she doing all this when mona is here. Ambaji initially refuses but mona almost snatches her feet from her (hehe) and starts rubbing. Mona says that ur feet are swollen and u shudnt work this much. Ambaji smiles and mona gives ambaji chocolate. Ambaji says why are u buttering me, what do u want. Mona says she doesn't want anything now, thought she wants sumtimes. AMbaji gets the chocolate and says she will eat one and mona should eat the other one. Mona agrees. Ambaji then says that before mona used to say that u shudnt eat chocolate as it is bad for teeth. Mona says sumtimes it is okie. Mona then starts singing dance pe chance mar le. Ambaji then says that now she understood that because of contest she is doing all this. Ambaji says listen, what I have told you she was right and she wont back off from her words. Mona says but sweety didi. Ambaji says she knows she is doing this for sweety didi but girls from reputed families dunt look nice dancing like this in front of people. Mona says that nowadays it is not like that, it is very respected profession these days e.g. dance teachers. Mona gives the example of garba etc. but ambaji is still adamant on her views. Mona is sad. Ambaji tells her to leave. Mona gets little mad and snatches the chocolate from her hand and says that it is bad for teeth and leaves. Ambaji is left there with her open hand (ahaha so funny). Ambaji is little sad.
Mona says that both son and mother are very stubborn and she is ranting about it in the hallway. Just then bapuji comes and says whats wrong. Mona in anger says that once they have said sumting, it is the line on the stone and it cant be changed. Bapuji says wow mona this much anger, just tell me whats wrong, maybe he will convince her mother in law. Mona little smily tells him all.
Sweety;s room:
Sweety is looking at a Barbie and is very sad. Karan sees her and she is silently crying. Karan walks upstairs sadly. Hetal is fixing their clothes in their room and she asks karan whats wrong. Karan is almost crying. Karan says that hetal what will happen with sweety they cant even do anything and he is feeling very pain. Hetal says why cant they do anything, they are all with her, isn't tht enough. Karan says no it is not and hetal agrees. Hetal says she is trying her best and even jhayiji is not here and everyone is so tensed at home that no one feels like doing anything and she doesn't understand how much she can do. She then apologizes to karan. Karan says that he is not mad at her for any reason and she is taking good care of everyone. Hetal says she understands all and that if karan stands by her, she will take care of sweety too and everything will be okie. Karan feels better and smiles a bit. He holds her hand and hetal cutely runs her hand over hand.
Gandhi hallway:
Bapuji says he doenst know how much he can help. But he doesn't understand one thing that how can bharti be like that as she used to such a good dancer before her wedding. And that bharti is a trained dancer and mona is shocked. Mona says that then what happened that she is all against the dance so much. Bapuji says that as far as he can remember bharti and her two sisters were trained dancers and then bharti came to this house and since then dance has never been mentioned. Bapuji says he even mentioned once but she refused. But their house environment used to be very different and baa didn't even take interest in her dance and since then she hasn't danced. Mona snatches bapuji's walking stick and says then sumting must have happened (funny scene, bapuji is all surprised at her walking stick in mona's hands hehe)… and she will find out…
Precap:
Karan and sweety scene: Karan says sweety must promise that whatever he will say, she wont refuse, sweety agrees. Karan says that his and hetal's first baby, they will give to sweety. All shocked, including hetal, mona, parmeet, satnam and rest..Sweety will the mother of that child. Hetal looks very surprised.
