What's the one story about Ganesh Chaturthi that comes to your mind?
I think that Ganpati is a very smart and modern God (laughs). I remember the story where he and his brother Karthik had to take three rounds of the earth. While Karthik set off to take three rounds, Ganpati simply took three rounds of Shiv-Parvati.

Which has been your best memory of the festival?
I am not a native of Mumbai, so visiting friend's houses and getting to know about the rituals is an interesing memory. Also eating the white modaks that I had never eaten before coming to Mumbai as it is my favourite prasad now.

Which is the best pandal you ever visited?
I have not visited many pandals but I have heard a lot about Lalbaughcha Raja and I am hoping to visit it this year.

What is your most favourite part of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi?
The white modaks (laughs) and also the aarti and the rest of the celebrations.

In the spirit of going green, do you think the festival should be celebrated in a environment friendly manner? What suggestions would you give people in this respect?
It is high time that we decided to do something for our environment. People just dump waste in the sea without thinking about the result of it. I strongly recommend bringing eco-friendly Ganpati's home. Clay is a part of nature and dissolves easily in water so these Ganpati's should be bought.

What are your plans for the festival this year?
Since Dor has a Maharashtrian backdrop we will be bringing a Ganpati on the sets. We will also have a Ganpati sequence in the show and I am looking forward to it.
