This is not about reading your fic, but rather my take on what you wrote about expectations and being a writer. As a writer myself, I want to tell you that its not about expectations, its about writing for yourself. The day you write for others, you're gonna write shit. You should write for yourself, and no matter how many people read or do not read your fic you should continue it. When I started writing (I don't write here - I write on another site), 4 years back, I didn't get a good response either - yet I wrote and I wrote for myself. I get amazing reviews now and ofcourse I love the feedback, every writer does, I know that - but that feedback is an added bonus. I write because I love writing not for any other reason. And thats the kind of attitude I think you should have if you want to write.
