But what differs is the screenplay, tell me when did we have a continuous good paced episode at least for a week continuously. the story should focus on the details of the theme of the show( which is RaDev) and the other characters should help in projecting the main characters which is totally missing now and we can also add the very poor editing which lacks.

Niha, You're right. I take back my words and would put in your words instead. (not the story, the main problem is screenplay...or the presentation...this is what i had wanted to say). I did say, crappy and poor story line in both my posts...so am putting the same thoughts here. 😊

CB2 has a beautiful story with intricate and layered characters which are interesting to explore. Indian audience love exploring such characters if shown properly. Majority of the Indian shows don't have it (infact none have them!) CB2's writers have done an exceptional job in creating varied range of characters. They, i guess, too had some great ideas. However, the screenplay and the presentation made all the difference! This show was never presented properly. The fault may lie on DJ's or the channel...but ultimately what we, audience, got was a half baked episode. The crux of the characters jumped from one thing to another without ever giving an explanation to the audience as to why that was being done. As you said, there was never a consistent week. Audience needs time to connect. If every alternate day, they see something entirely different going on...how can they relate? If every other day, characters change...how would they connect?
Characters never spoke to audience, never let the viewer understand their POV, never made it clear as to why they are taking such a stance. Layered characters require more time to be accepted by the audience. As for the screenplay presentation...well, it was good in bits and parts but not in major ones. Editing was pathetic always! Editing mistakes made the scene looked odd...which otherwise might have looked proper and correct!

Another problem is the main background of the story -- RPship. People would wonder if this is actually the same season or another?

And now, they are focussing more on the parallel lead (Barkha has become one right!?) than the actual leads. Even Vishaka was the parallel lead but RaDev got more prominent scenes in CB1 than her. She was there ofcourse on everyday basis, still we never felt that RaDev were being sidelined. However, now Barkha rules the show! They want audience to connect to barkha, because they will she can be the TRP puller. Sigh. Had they shown RaDev scenes properly in a slow manner, audience would have easily connected to them!!

Exactly! ZEE is in 4th position only because it doesn't realize how to recognize the potential of its own products 😡

might be zee wnts to wind up two of its shows mentioned in the article but cb is mentioned purposely to know if viewers r still glued to the show ... they had to think twice bfore ending cb right now the ratings r much low at the time kbc is lauched one of the shows in that slot has gone less than 2... cb is not tooo bad it has not dropped less than 1 if channel pays more attention it could reach the top... as the leads r still popular... y theres no mention abt 630 slot which has less trps for a long long time...

Improved screen play editing and good presentation of story with lots of promos, good interesting promos, will help CB a lot and stop these leaked crappy show reports from different sources which many times prove wrong but create lots of mischief among readers the real people who make the trps are unaware of all this and the only way they know of future tracks are promos through which they desire whether to see a show or not.

The news report say may and is not a confirmed source and naturally when the ratings drop some exercise and brain storming does take place among the channel decision makers and core team .

The CC shows all do lots of positive promotion for their shows.

Why doesn't the channel take in to consideration the slot trp's? If you compare none of the ZEE shows, except PR, lead any slot. With KBC ruling the roost, it would become even more diff. for the top show as well. But that's their concern. CB's rival shows have the trp only in 2.3 range, and it shouldn't take much time to beat these shows if CB is handled sensitively. As for the 6.30 slot, i guess, since the slot doesn't have any competition plus the show is bringing some numbers to the channel, they aren't bringing this in to light.

I don't think Zee would shut down CB so early.Besides they know the consequences if they shut down. They'l again lose their viewers which I'm sure they don't want at this stage. If CB is handled properly it can get good ratings & it can reach the top.

agree with u.
thanks for putting it elaborately👏
Viewers has to understand the character but not get confused( or ask for explanations) as why that character is doing that way. I think CV's failed to explain RaDev in detail, for the verge of TRP's and the introduction of their new fav characeter.

Ohh thanks Madhu for telling about the writer 😊 Yes we should not talk negative about the show and stay positive, I'm sure everything will work out. Zee tv cannot end CB so abrupt again!
