i think its because of all her actors and actresses and the superhot pairs like "eijaz-anita", "rajeev-aamna" "kumud-kshitij", "angad-kripa", "karan-nandini","pushkar-pia" probably some more, but these are my favorite

actors and actress...she introduce all handsome hunk like Rajeev Bhaiya,Eijaz,Iqbal,Hiten,Amit Sareen,Ronit Roy,Cezanne Khan,Ram Kapoor and beautiful actresses like Aamna,Anita,Neha,Gauri,Aashka,Shweta,Prachi and jodis like 'Sujal-Kashish','Kkavya-Anjali','Angad-Kripa','Karan-Nandani ','Kshitij-Kumud','Bajaj-Prena,'Anurag-Prena and Jai-Bani then after sometine she seperate them,kill them and forely make them leave the serials and break the jodi and give us heart ache...

I think ekta's attention getter are first actors and actresses and then the dialogues specially at the time of fights b/w heros and herioines.

people like them because of ektas same typical love stories and secondly they like to see their favourite stars whether they like the story or not

I believe that Ekta's serials are popular just because of the publicity.

During Prime time Ekta's shows run on most of the popular channels be it Star or Sony.

After the publicity i would say the use of glamour...fancy clothing, tons of makeup & the sets.

If u take out all these ingredients from K-soaps they would be worse than a D-graded show.
