the sound of slap echoed in entire office...her head was lowered in shame...never in her life she experienced such a thing..she was a princess in her house...she was adored and loved by all...no one ever dared to speak a word against her...but today...she got the shock of her life...she was slapped..that too ..by him...whom she hates to the core...maan...tears welled up in her eyes...due to pain that winced on her cheek...all office staff were looking at them with their mouths wide opened...
"now i think u got my answer" said maan and walked to his cabin...without feeling bad even for once...for what he did...
geet closed her eyes in pain and hurt...she wiped her tears and moved out of the office silently...
she reached home...and went silently into her room...the whole night she kept thinking about herself...she looked herself in mirror...a tear rolled down her eye when looked at herself...there was nothing special in her ...she was just a normal girl...
"thats why maan never liked me...i have nothing special in me..nothing...neither beauty..nor education...iam nothing..." she cried ...bitterly whole night...
she came to know herself after that incident...everything changed after that day...
next day morning..she herself requested her father..to join her in good college...which otherwise she was opposing to enjoy the life with friends and parties...her father happily agreed nad all the family members rejoiced when they saw her finally showing interest in studies...
Initially it was very difficult for her to cope up with studies...but she was determined to study well...she studied with full concentration...forgetting everything...every enjoyment in life...that year she passed with just average marks...which was a big blow to her...her confidence weakened...she decided to quit...but then again the same slap...flashed in her mind...reminding about herself again...thats it all her weakness and fears disappeared...she studied...as if there is no alternative...and that hard work..didn't go waste...nothing stopped her from becoming topper of the college for the next two consecutive years...but still she was not satisfied..her education became her life...after graduation...she aimed for business administration studies...destiny bowed before her hard work and dedication...she topped in every examination she wrote...her name was first in any interview she attended...
she worked for top companies in world..and started her own company too...she achieved everything she wished for...she became so busy that she never bothered about personal life...if anything she could remember was...the slap..which maan gave 10 years back...that too only during the times of weakness and fear of future...
maan came to his room and sat on the couch...thinking about her...which he was doing past 10 years...
