IPKKND- -Did I make a mistake???

I am not a 'SERIAL' person...that is to say I have never watched a Hindi serial up to now...and then I saw the promo of IPKKND (while channel surfing) and I became hooked. There i was every evening faithfully watching the serial and becoming more and more enamoured by ASR and Khushi...and waiting in anticipation for the next day to see how the story goes... It seemed to me that off late the serial is dragging with a lot of unnecessary stuff and melodrama. and sometimes borders on the ridiculous...I mean how can Khushi go to the party and see every one else and not Shyam...bringing the cake and walking alongside it but not raising her eyes to see the two timer!!!! and Shyam...conveniently saved by the mobile at the last minute and makes his escape...get real man!!!

And why is ASR so tolerant with La???? Any other person would have his/her head chewed off for a minor abberation?? What gives??Not consistent at all...

Please we are trying to see a good story here...do not bring in characters or make up ridiculous sub plots just to extend the story...and I'm sure all of us fans would like to see more interaction between the main protogonists...Arnav and Khushi!!! there is hardly anything of them for the past couple of episodes.

I am mainly watching this serial for Barun Sobti...he is very good, charismatic and emotes and acts very well...and he is very good looking to boot and his beautiful brown eyes are something else!! ( I saw BHPH...all 188 episodes on you tube in a record 3 weeks after watching him on IPKKND) and now there is hardly any footage of him...it makes me think he is making a special appearance and all the others are leads!😕

Please can we have some semblance of sense in the story??? Not too much to ask is it??

Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai. This is on my mind when I watch the drag scenes. I agree with you. Seriously I had enough 😆 I love this show and Arhi is the reason why I am watching this show. But the last 2 weeks they overdose the flashback. It was the Maha episode that we got one scene but sadly it was a small one. But now the story is moving forwad 😃 hopefully we'll get Arhi scenes.

a part of me just wants to stop watching. it may just happen like that. I may give up since I'm not much of a serial watcher myself. Just saw this because its a 4 lions and i love Geet. The only serial i have ever watched completely except for a few episodes of the the Amritsar track.

Snap, to be honest I actually don't like majority of the indian dramas because I find the storylines so predictable and cringey but I don't know why IPKKND seems so different to all the other soaps and I really liked it, I started watching Arnav and Khushi scenes then the rest of the episode and now theres barely any new scenes to watch.🥱 Oh well I'm just going to wait a little longer for the teaching La track to start where there will be scenes. Same I'm very attracted to Barun

You have hit the nail on head. It is becoming very repetitive,boring with some, as you say, ridiculously unrealistic situations.

hehe.. I liked your comment about Special appearance by Barun 😛

Also, what you put in the beginning about Shyam being unnoticed by Khushi makes sense.. but this is an Indian daily soap!! In the past there were people dying and being alive again, reincarnations (and meeting of couples after rebirth etc.) so this is nothing! 😉

About ASR being tolerant with La - I guess the kind of person he is, he does not give too much importance to people and just ignore them, that's why he did not reacted much after she ruined the party.. Also he is nice with her probably because Nani doesn't like her and as Anjali said to him earlier maybe he is with her to just prove nani wrong.. 🤢

well.. for the subplots.. I guess it's a must in daily soap.. How will the audience appreciate the ArHi scenes if we are not bombarded with the rest of the crap? We can't have only desserts for the dinner.. but hopefully we'll have some more scenes of them together in upcoming episodes..

I like the saying- Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai. However, I'm not so sure with this show...

I see no reason for illogical and filler tracks at this early stage of the serial.

It makes me wonder if the creatve behind the initial promos and episodes is different from the current one!

Like the TM said, the Promo's were far more promising and atleast seta different expectation in my mind,

I started watching the show mid July, where there was actual progress in ArShi story and was instantly hooked, but lately there's just been a massive decline...
It seems as though the CV's are trying to concentrate on two seperate love stories: Khushi & Shyam and Lavanya & Arnav... Even Buaji has clicked on between the growing friendship of Shyam and Khushi...and everyone in the Raizada house except Nani (and sometime Arnav) is enthusiastic about Lavanya's presence...

In my opinion the CV's are digging bigger holes for themselves...even if Shyam's identity is revealed, Lavanya is dumped and Arnav and Khushi get together, what implications will that have for Anjali..will she still be able to be friends with Khushi knowing her husband wanted her, how will she face her as her prospective sister-in-law...and how will Lavanya react to her being replaced with Khushi...will she turn extra evil and live to only seek revenge on Khushi? Perhaps team up with Mami-ji and Shyam and start a 'I hate Khushi' group... 😕

Sadly, regardless of my rant, I'm still loosely addicted to this drama as I know that Arnav and Khushi will eventually fall in love 'soon', however if the talk of marriage of either ASR or KKG with Lav or Shyam arise...I will be seriously cheesed off! 🤬
