Khushi: I agree with Aru. But there is no harz in trying.
Taani was in a deep thought.
Taani thought: What would I say to Anu?
Shilpa: Taani...Chinta math karo. I promise that this Raj will go out of your life by the end of this week.
Taani: Sach?
Shilpa, Khushi, Arohi: Much.
The 4 friends hugged each other. Tomorrow was going to be a prank-full day.
Morning dawned as Taani and the girls woke up for their big plan. Daljeet had gone out for some grocery shopping so Adhiraj was alone. He was sleeping peacefully in the sitting room.
Arohi and Khushi were in the kitchen messing about with a bucket of water. Shilpa and Taani were confused. They had no idea what the two girls were up to. Arohi and Khushi slowly crept up behind the sofa.
Arohi: 1...2...3!!!
They poured the water from the bucket as it splashed on Adhiraj's face. Khushi put the bucket in Taani's hand so that it looked liked she did the prank.
Raj: What the...!!!!
He looked at Taani. Instead of shouting at her, he smiled. The girls were completely shocked.
Raj: Taani you did this? 😊
Shilpa: Yeah she did. So, you gna cancel the wedding? 😛
Raj: Not at all. I thought that Taani was a serious girl. But she likes pranks and so do I. I didn't mind.
Taani was surprised.
Taani: Erm...Adhiraj...I need to tell you something.
Raj: Sure but call me Raj.
Taani: Woh...I can't marry you because I love...
Daljeet: Mein agaya hoon.
Daljeet entered the house. She laughed when she saw Raj.
Taani sighed and walked to her room. Raj followed her.
Raj: Tell me. You love someone else?
Taani: Yh...
Raj: Who's the lucky guy?
Taani: Anurag Khurana. But I don't know if he loves me. It's just that, I always dreamed of a love marriage not arranged. And Chachi doesn't know about this. If I tell her, she would force me to marry you.
Raj stood there, quiet. He looked around the room. Adhiraj walked to Taani's desk and picked up a photo.
Raj: Is he the 1?
It was a photo of Anurag. Taani nodded her head.
Raj: Kal humari engagement hai. Tell him to come with his family.
Taani was confused. She had no idea what he was talking about.
Khushi, Shilpa and Arohi entered the room.
Raj: This is the plan.
The girls listened to his plan and were surprised that Raj would do all this. They agreed.
Arohi: You aren't that bad as we thought.
Raj: Thnx. I can't see 2 lovers being separated. I just can't.
Taani: Thnx alot Raj.
Raj: Anything for you.
He walked out of the room as the friends squealed with excitement.
Taani was dialling Anurag's number.
Anu: Hello Taani.
Taani: Hi Anu. Woh...Kal meri engagement hai.
Anu: KYA??!!!!
He was shocked. Anu thought that Taani had loved him...
Taani: Kal zaroor ana. Neelu Aunty aur Arnav, Armaan, Arjun ke saath.
Anu was speechless. He couldn't believe that Taani Sharma was going to get married.
Taani: Anu...
Anu: Sorry. Of course we will come. Bye.
Taani: Bye. Tc.
She hung up the phone. Taani had tears in her eyes. She was doing all this to get Anu, but the important thing was that she was upsetting him. Taani hated doing that. She just hated it.
Today was Taani and Adhiraj's engagement. People had already started to come in and Taani was getting ready. She was wearing a green and gold lehnga which had intricate designs. Taani had tears in her eyes.
Shilpa: Taani...
Shilpa hugged her best friend as Taani cried and cried.
Arohi: Di, everything will be fine. You and Anurag will be together.
Taani: Par...what if the plan didn't work? I love Anu and what if we...
Voice: What plan?
The girls turned around to see Anurag standing at the door.
Anu: I need to talk to Taani.
Khushi, Arohi and Shilpa left the room. They locked the door and went outside.
Taani wiped her tears and looked away from him. He walked up to her.
Anu: Taani...
She hugged him passionately. Tears brimmed from her eyes as Anu cupped her chin in his hands.
Anu: What happened Taani? Why are you doing this engagement?
Taani: Daljeet Chachi wanted me to get married to Adhiraj and it was all to quick...
Anu: Why were you crying before? But first of all...What were you saying to Shilpa about love?
Taani: Woh...
Anu: Who do you love? Bol Taani.
Taani kept twirling her dupatta around her fingers.
Anu: Fine. I'll say it. I love you.
He looked at Taani. She just stood there, speechless. He slowly walked towards the door.
Taani whispered: I love you to.
Anu: I heard that.
He opened out his hands as Taani ran to him and they hugged each other.
Meanwhile, the other 3 girls were explaining the plan to Armaan, Arnav and Arjun. The boys decided to take part in the plan. They were all waiting outside Taani's room for the couple to come out. As soon as the door opened, they all screamed and congratulated the couple.
Raj: Hi everyone. You must be Anu? I'm Raj.
Anu: Yh. Hi Raj.
Raj whispered to Anu: You're lucky. You got the world's best girl. 😉
Anu chuckled and patted Raj on the back.
Raj: Ready to put the plan in action?
Everyone: READY!!!
