im sorry for keeping u waiting for so long but just wanted to tell you that my GMs better now and i have started writing again but as u already know i didnt brought my laptop with me... so im using my friends LT n ill update as often as i cud get my hands on it..lolzz
now coming to the story, i know all of you have this question in ur mind that whether geet really loves vicky or why she loves vicky??!! Well i would just say this for the time being that when we even have a crush on someone, it seems like true love to us... geet is unaware of the feeling of love.. so the first guy that she felt something for, she thought she is in love with him...hope i'm making sense...😉
n as i promised earlier, now the real drama is gonna start from this update...i'll try to sqeeze maaneet in every update as much as i can, because i know we all love just maaneet... but u have to bear with me with any extra characters in the story as they r also important now😛

MUMBAI NEXT DAY
The next day, Geet reaches office with the decision of resigning. When she reached there she saw everybody running here and there in stress. Everybody was very worried.
Geet asks Anjali "Anjali, what happened?"
Anjali says "Yaar Geet, don't ask!! Boss ka mood aaj kuch zyada hi kharab hai. Aate hi Maan sir ne aakash ko job se nikaal diya just because uski tie ka knot dheela tha!! Na jaane aur kitno ki naukri jaane wali hai Geet!! Mujhe to bohat tension ho raha hai yaar!!!"
And Anjali gets back into her work.
Geet frowns a little and goes towards Maan's cabin.
She knocks the door and heard Maan saying "Come in" from inside.
Geet goes inside. Maan looks at her and anger starts flooding on his face.
Geet didn't know how to start. At last, she puts the envelop in which she has put her resignation letter on his table in front of him.
Maan looks at the envelop in front of him and then at Geet who was looking at the ground.
The sight of their yesterday's night was still flashing before Geet's eyes and she was too embarrassed to look into his eyes.
Maan opens the letter and looks at it.
Maan glares at her and stands up while pushing the chair roughly behind.
Geet winces in fear at the noise but did not take her eyes off the ground.
Maan walks towards Geet and says angrily "What is this?"
Geet did not look up and said while looking on the ground "Maan I'm sorry but I cant work here anymore!"
"Of course you can and you will!!" he holds her resignation letter in front and tore it into half.
Geet looks at the resignation letter that he was tearing and then looked into his eyes for the first time since yesterday's night.
And all she can saw was immense anger in those eyes. She unknowingly takes a step back.
And Maan says "I am not accepting your resignation! And you are not going anywhere you get that?!" there was an authority in his voice.
"Maan please!! Why are you making this so difficult?" she almost begged.
"Geet, you are the one who's making everything so difficult!!" he said with anger in his voice "You are bringing the personal stuff into professional life. This is office Geet! And whatever happened between us that night, has nothing to do with this!! Raat gayi, baat gayi!! Forget about it and get back to work!"
Geet looks at him unbelievably. Her temper has started rising with his words.
She snaps back "How dare you Maan!! Tumne mujhe samajh ke kya rakha hai? How easily you said that 'Raat gayi baat gayi'!!!!!" she says the words disgustingly. "Tumhare liye ye aam baat hogi, that you forget after sleeping with someone, magar main tumhare jaisi ghatiya nahin hoon."
Maan holds her shoulders and pulls her roughly towards him and says sarcastically "Kiyun Geet? Kal tumhi ne kaha tha na, that whatever happened between us, just forget about it? To fir yeh gussa kis liye? Maine bhi to wohi kaha na jo tum chahti ho?"
He said while taking out all his anger on her. He was glaring at her with fire in his eyes.
Geet remembered that it was her decision and it was 'right' too.
So she cooled down and again looked at the ground and said "Maan please let me go!"
"No!!!" he was still glaring at her.
Geet looked at him surprised.
Before Geet can say something, he roughly planted an aggressive kiss on her mouth.
Geet became numb with shock. She couldn't understand for what is happening.
Maan's lips became aggressive to passionate as he kissed her. He has been so angry and frustrated from yesterday, that he didn't know what he was doing or why he was doing that.
He has just kissed her to take out his anger on her but the moment their lips met, all his anger vanished.
Now it was pure passion. He nibbled and sucked her lips passionately.
Geet's mind has become blank. And before she could realize her actions, she closed her eyes and gave into the passion and kissed him back.
And they deepened the kiss. Their tongues played with each other's and sucking and nibbling each other's lips. Their hands were all over each other.
Maan's hands slided under Geet's top and moved upwards. Geet moaned in pleasure. She was getting weak on her knees. She holds his hair tightly in desire.
Maan started moving down and slided the staps of Geet's top and Geet realized what they were doing, but something in her didn't want to stop but her blurry rational thinking was screaming at her to stop.
Geet tried to open her eyes and said breathing heavily "Maan please stop!!"
But Maan didn't stop. He has gone wild in desire. Her words didn't reach his ears.
Geet was trying very hard to regain her control. She tried once again and mumbled "Maan stop!" her voice was hoarse with desire.
But Maan still didn't stop. The touch of Geet's body has awakened the demon inside him. He did not hear anything around him. All he knew was he has to satisfy his hunger or else this hunger and desire would kill him. He wants her. He needs her. At any cost!
It took every ounce of Geet's control to snap her eyes open in full.
And she pushed him with all her might and took two steps back. She quickly puts on the straps of her top.
Maan looked at her with eyes red in desire. He blinked few times to control himself.
Geet puts a hand on her mouth shocked of what they were doing as tears started making way into her eyes.
Maan realized what he has done.
Geet was about to run away while crying.
Maan runs after her and holds her hand when she is at the door and says
"Geet, I'm really sorry. Please Geet, I'm really really very sorry. I know you are hurt but please hear me out once. Just once please."
Geet looks away and say while crying "I don't want to listen anything."
But Maan didn't leave her hand and says "Geet please, give me one chance. For our friendship's sake??!!" he almost begged.
Geet didn't say anything but kept on crying silently neither try to leave. So Maan continued
"Geet I know you might not believe me, but I love you."
Geet looks at him surprised. She stops crying from the momentary surprise.
"Yes Geet, I'm falling in love with you from the moment I met you. Believe me, I have tried very hard to suppress my feelings for you, but they have kept on increasing with every moment."
Maan holds her hand and continues"But now I cant stop myself anymore. I love you Geet, and I cant live without you. I want to marry you Geet. I know I have done a lot of mistakes in my past. I know I have a dark past with a lot of heartbreaks on my hands. But would you be able to overlook my past and be a part of my present and future?" he looks into her eyes intensely and says "Will you marry me Geet?" he looks at her expectantly.
Geet was in a shock. She didn't know what to say. Maan is 'proposing' her??!!! And he's waiting for an answer! What should she say? She doesn't love him! Whatever happened between them was just... Urgghhh! She wasn't able to explain the reason for that even to herself. Honestly, she doesn't know why she did that! Why she let down her guard that night or why she kissed him back passionately that day or today? Why?? That was one question that she doesn't know the answer to!!
But she know one thing for sure! She doesn't love him. Not like that at least! But she doesn't hate him either. So what is this that's between them? Friendship? Attraction? Likeness? She doesn't know.
No matter how messed up she is right now, but she knows she doesn't want to hurt him. How could she? He's her friend. And she's not a bad friend! But she cant even accept him. That would be unfair to him and to herself. He deserves someone who would love him, but she cant love him because she's in love with someone else.
But how should she tell him so that it doesn't hurt him? She was aware that he was waiting for her reply.
Geet tries pathetically to smile at him and takes back her hand from his hands. Maan noticed that!
Geet said "Maan," she bites her lower lip and continues "I'm---I'm really sorry. You are a very good friend of mine and I love you, but just as a friend!! I'm sure that whichever girl comes into your life would be the luckiest girl in the world. But that's just not me Maan! You have no idea how much its hurting me to say that I cant marry you Maan. I'm sorry but I don't love you like that! I'm very sorry Maan."
She tries to leave and Maan again stops her but this time putting his arm in front of her. "Geet please. You cant just go without giving me a reason for your refusal. Why Geet? Why cant you even give me a chance? Kya tumhein mujh mein koi kami dikhti hai? Just tell me Geet! I can completely change myself for you!!" there was pain in his eyes.
Geet did not want to go into the reason. She knew she is hurting him enough already, how can she hurt him more by telling him that she's in love with his own brother!
"Maan!" she closes her eyes"I don't want to fall in love or marry anyone right now. I have to concentrate on my career!!" she made it up
"Geet, I'm not asking you to leave your career. I have no problem with you working after marriage."
"Maan you are not understanding what I'm saying! I'm... I'm just not ready yet!!" she said a little frustratingly.
Maan said with a little hopeful smile "Its ok Geet. I can wait. I can wait for you for my whole lifetime!" and he smiles at her sweetly.
Geet wanted to tell him that there was no use of waiting. That he should forget about her and move on. But she couldn't make herself to say the words after looking at that hope in his eyes. She just couldn't! she has just hurted him by refusing him, how can she hurt him more by killing his last hope?!
She knew she was wrong by not telling him about Vicky, but still she couldn't make herself. The words just refused to come out of her mouth. And she kept mum.
"Geet, I know you are very disturbed right now. How about you take a day off and have rest?" Maan said sweetly.
Geet didn't say anything and leaves with a million thoughts going through her mind.
Geet couldn't understand what has just happened inside??!! What is she doing with her life? Why is she messing up everything so badly!!??
When she has decided that she was gonna leave this place, then why did she stopped? Why didn't she just tell him on his face that she is not staying? Period. When she is already regretting that night, then why she was all ready to repeat it today? That night was a mistake. The biggest mistake of her life! But why did she responded to his kiss today? Why did she kissed him back? Why didn't she pushed him right away? Is it because she likes him????
As soon as the thought crossed her mind, she snapped at her own self
"No, I don't like him. Maybe he has an awesome body, beautiful big deep eyes, long eyelashes... I wonder sometimes if its natural for a guy to have such beautiful long eyelashes! And the way he glares at everybody from under those eyelashes as he would kill them with his eyes!! The way he tightens his jaw when he's angry..."
A smile came on her lips as she remembered one of Maan's angry glare and she thinks 'And the sweet smile that plays at the corner of his lips sometimes... and the taste of his lips...'
Geet found herself blushing and she snapped back at herself angrily "Geet, yeh tu kya soch rahi hai?! Maan??!! Babaji! What's wrong with me??" she closes her eyes in disgust "Stop behaving like some cheap fluzy Geet! And get a grip on yourself!! You are probably thinking about him just because he was your first time! First time???!! Eeewww!! Geet just stop it!!!!!"
And then something struck her mind and she says to herself in determination "Geet, theres only one way to put an end to all this!! Vicky... I need to talk to Vicky and tell him how I feel about him! Then probably these dirty thoughts will stop coming into my mind." She made a disgusting face and takes out the mobile and calls Vicky.
Vicky: hello
Geet: Vicky... um... I need to talk to you!
Vicky: yes Geet. What is it?
Geet:Not on the phone. I need to talk to you face to face.
Vicky: Sure Geet. I'm going to Just-In restaurant in an hour. So you also come there.
Geet:ok
And she hungs up.
She thought that she has to do this. She cant live with that sword hanging on her head anymore. She has to take the first step! She cant just beat about the bush anymore!!
And with determination in her heart, she goes home.
She changes into the most beautiful red dress from her wardrobe and dresses up with extra care. Then she sets out to meet Vicky.
All of a sudden, she was very confident. There was not a slightest fear in her heart of rejection. After all, she is THE Geet Handa! Who can say 'no' to her??!
When Geet reaches the restaurant, she saw Vicky sitting in a corner with someone. Geet couldn't see who was sitting with him as the person has back towards Geet. And neither does Geet cared! Her eyes were only for Vicky.
She goes towards him and says with a smile"Hi Vicky!"
"Hi Geet!" Vicky gets up to greet her and says "You are looking very beautiful today!"
"Thanks" Geet said smiling while blushing a little.
Vicky says to the girl sitting with him "Nimmi, this is Geet. She works at KA and is a very good friend of mine."
Nimmi says a formal 'hi' to Geet and smiles sweetly at her.
Vicky continues "And Geet," and he puts his arm around Nimmi's shoulders and says "This is Namrata, my WIFE!!!"
