There are times when I feel that I get a better sense of where the CVs are going with the story if I watch several episodes together instead of individual ones, specially now that a new major track is getting under way. Since I watched Friday's episode in bits and pieces for the written update, I had to rewatch it for moi. In the process I watched the week in succession - kahan se kahan tak - in terms of what kind of track will come up and how the M & Ms will react to Guddu and Runjhun from here on.
BTW I enjoyed the grovelling part by the M & Ms as R and G looked on indifferently at them a lot. Well done CVs!
What was clever about the M & M's punishment episode was that even though I had predicted correctly based on the precap that it was M & M's nightmare and not necessarily something Guddu would do, why was it such a dead giveaway? It is not that Guddu in his anger lacks propensity to inflict pain on them for hurting his Runjhun, but there was something else about it.
Watching it again, it dawned on me that the clever part of the punishment nighmare sequence by the CVs was that these M & Ms have limited brain cells, even in their nightmare. The punishments that they envision for themselves are based on what they have inflicted on Runjhun over the years...
Bantu never said Boo to anyone, so he sees himself spared and taking care of his Billo.
Even their in-fighting is highlighted in their nightmare.
Making her wash clothes endlessly
Making her clean pots and pans ad infinity
Making her sweep and clean floors until her back breaks
Making her pound spices until her arms fall off
And remember the shoes thrown at Runjhun to polish while Guddu watched angrily from the upstairs window?
And Guddu wielding the whip? This is how they perceive him to be and their notion of the loving side of Guddu is reserved for Runjhun only.
So the M & Ms think of what they dished out is what they will get in return.
CVs, that was a very hilarious way to present M & Ms nightmare! Enjoyed it tremendously! Still laughing!
